Then they returned, every man of Judah and Jerusalem, with Jehoshaphat in front of them, to go back to Jerusalem with joy, for the Lord had made them rejoice over their enemies. 2 Chronicles 20.27

After collecting the wealth that the Most High prepared for them and after going to the valley of blessing to thank the Lord, the army of Judah returned to Jerusalem. The news would have to be given personally, for this would cheer the people. So, besides God being praised, their faith would grow and, in any need, they would pray knowing that they were the chosen people.

The work was not yet complete, because they had not yet publicly given the testimony of how the Almighty had operated on their behalf. Seeing the victors parading in the Holy City, the emotion took over the inhabitants in that place. That´s why we must always make known what our God has done for us. They had come together to ask for heavenly help; now, they assembled to parade joyfully.

That day was of hallelujahs, praises and cheers in the region once threatened to be scratched from the map. How many of those men could have died and left their families in mourning, and their children, orphans? And how much want they would have suffered if God had not blessed them in the battle! Likewise, those who were healed and helped in time of calamity should conduct services of thanksgiving for the undeserved favor which the Lord has given them.

You need to be a Spirit-filled and faith winner, for God’s people to triumph. The happiness of many depends on your love for the Savior. The failure of a Christian is a serious matter, for there will be people who will be used by the devil to take faith from the heart of the saved. On the other hand, your victory will comfort countless souls.

The march of the victors was of happiness and much action of the divine power, which acted in the weak and frightened hearts due to the threat of the enemy. Now they were strengthened when seeing the deeds of the Lord. The good news always brings anointing for the fearful to the Father. Fight to win the battles, because others will mirror in you.

Notice the praise of the overcomers of Judah in the valley of blessing and the parade in Jerusalem. There is no reason to believe the liar, if the divine promise is that we will never be forsaken. There is no need to fear, for the Omnipotent has promised to be with us and to be our Help, upholding us with the right hand of His righteousness. It’s a wonderful promise, don´t you agree?

The march passed through the entire city and ended in the house of the Lord. How about marching in the streets of your dreams and thoughts, and ending in your heart, which is the abode of God? Undoubtedly, He deserves our gratitude and surrender. Amen?
