06/11/2020 - THE POWER ON THE SIDE OF THE OPPRESSORS

Then I returned and considered all the oppression that is done under the sun: And look! The tears of the oppressed, But they have no comforter— On the side of their oppressors there is power, But they have no comforter. Eclesiastes 4:1

The Holy Spirit often brings us back to facts that will help us understand what is going on in the world. It is worth saying that, if it weren’t for Adam’s sin, things on Earth would be quite different. The devil’s entry into our world brought the curse to the garden of God’s delights. However, there is a way out for humanity, because the Lord Jesus has already paid the price for our redemption.

Oftentimes, seeing the horrible things that happen, more than ever we have to meditate on the Word of God every day, according to Scriptures (Psalm 1:2). However, while we are in the midst of chaos, divine power makes us live in His paradise. This is the best in this life. Oppression under the sun is canceled by faith in Christ. Acting in His Name, we undo the works of evil.

Many people feel oppressed because their rulers do not serve the Lord, and this brings harm to man, whether he lives in poor nations or lives in those considered to be developed. Without Christ, the human being becomes a victim of the evil fury of evil spirits. When the Gospel comes, sufferers who learn to pray in the Name of Jesus are completely freed from the devil’s kingdom.

The tears of sadness that rolled down the face of the oppressed, are now of joy for having found the Truth. It is no longer the crying of anguish that wets their eyes, but of true happiness. We can contribute to a better world, where children will not be victims of the perverted and evil people and homes will be respected. Those who do not have bread at home today will have it to feed those who are hungry. 

Now, those who do not have the Comforter by their side, certainly live full of problems and pain. The work that Jesus told us to do throughout the world is the same that He did. He who believes and fulfills the Lord’s will becomes a true example that it is worthwhile to serve Him. We cannot let demons work in the people we bless, so that our work is not in vain.

The force was in the band of oppressors, but Jesus stripped them when, in His death, He entered Hades and stripped all those there who said they were powerful. Today, in Satan’s kingdom it is only sadness, because they are ashamed, defeated and desperate. When the Savior comes, they will be thrown into the lake that will burn forever with fire and sulfur for all centuries to come. The band of oppressors was defeated by the Savior.

Humanity was loft alone, with no one to comfort it. However, now, the demons have been defeated, and victory belongs to us. God never gave up on us!
