Hear, O LORD, and have mercy on me; LORD, be my helper! Psalm 30:10

As any mortal, King David had his ups and down in his faith in God. The saved will experience the same in the very same way for as long as they are in this world there will be tribulations (John 16:33) The Word says the Lord is faithful so He will not allow us to be tempted beyond our limited capacity; however with each temptation He will give us a way to avoid or escape (1 Corinthians 10:13). So don’t be scared or afraid when you are tempted.

The brave King of Israel was an instrument of God to teach us how to seek Him for a way out of our problems that show up in our lives on our way to Heaven, whether we are obedient or not to His divine will. After we have gone through the tribulations, the Almighty will teach us what to do to remain forever free from the enemy. The secret to always win is to pay close attention to what He says through the Scriptures and then obey.

When he was prospering, David was tempted by the devil to think he would never fall; consequently, like anyone else, as he felt great, he said what he should not. It is most important to be in communion with God which we practice through His Word. If you prosper don’t place your trust in what has been increased to you; if you are in straights don’t listen or pay attention to the devil’s threats but only to what the Bible says.

In difficult times do as David did; cry out for the Lord’s mercy to come upon you.  The Almighty has the power to protect you, delivering you from pride and from the fall. David recognized that God had increased his mountain; however, when He covered His face before His servant, the tribulation disturbed him. Now, this goes to show you not to fall into the hands of the devil so as not to suffer.

If the Lord’s not your help you will stumble and discover a high price to pay. But if you allow a God of goodness to guide you, you will learn that this is the secret to being successful and living a life free of problems. The Word will never be defeated or suffer shame.  Remember no evil ever comes from God but from the devil you can always expect nothing good. Who is your source?

God gave David understanding as to what and how to proceed with and protect the blessings he received by the renewal of his mind and David also saw that by divine favor, his trust in the Lord, his mountain, had increased and made him strong. This is what happens to those who embrace Jesus in faith and obey the Most High. Don’t let the Lord’s face be covered for you so that you are never dismayed.

In any and all situations or circumstances whether good or evil, cry out to the Father for help. In view of a marvelous blessing, the enemy will try to get between you and God, and if he does you will be seen as weak and in need.  However, fortified by the faith in the Lord you will never stumble or fall into sin. God keeps watch over those who trust Him truly. Verify if your faith in Jesus is firm.

In Christ, with Love,

Lord! Why do we boast when You bless us?  We should praise Your Holy Name for what You have done. We ask for Your Help so we do not stray or fall into temptation.

What man can say they will never err, never have problems or are greater than the forces of evil?  Now, if we have a humble heart we will recognize  our weaknesses.

Hear us and allow us to be at Your feet where You will transfer us what we need to know.  That Your mercy may never leave us, that we may never brag or boast. Forgive us and lead us again!
