It is extremely painful for us, servants of God, to know that there are people used by the kingdom of evil to seduce us and make us suffer. Disappointment invades our hearts when we are faced with various evil procedures, because we are aware that we did not motivate such actions. Because we are as simple as doves, we suffer due to the shrewdness of some who are more like snakes than Christians. Don’t take your eyes off Goodness!
Jacob had the divine promise, heard God speak to him countless times, and had experiences that shaped his character, but now everything seemed to fall apart. Did the Lord abandon the one who was wronged because he was the chosen one? No, this will never happen to the one who has the divine call. However, this person must prepare himself to go through rare moments, in which he will see the wickedness in the hearts of those who have never known love. God is faithful!
Upon hearing that Esau was on his way to fulfill his diabolical promise, a mixture of grief and confusion filled Jacob’s heart, and he feared greatly. The consolation of the Most High´s servants is mentioned in Scripture: Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. [...] But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, (2 Timothy 3.12-14). It´s sad to know that there is wickedness in many who embrace us and drink of the revelation and anointing given to us, but that is part of the lessons!
Jacob’s confident smile gave way to an anguish he had never seen or felt before. However, something had to be done, and again he acted according to his own heart, and not according to heaven’s guidance. Now, if he had heard from God that, when he returned to his land, he would be kept from evil, why was he distressed? This proves that God’s servant is human like any other who faces adverse situations.
One’s attitude when facing difficulty, bad news, or an accident – makes the enemy lose or win the battle. We can’t be afraid of anything; after all, the righteous must be bold as a lion (Proverbs 28.1). If we are confident, in difficulty – the devil loses the ability to carry out his threat; however, the opposite is also true. The fearful man exchanges the lordship of Jesus for the dominion of the devil.
So stand firm when facing evil, which seems to have the ability to oppress you, and don’t let the devil’s lie overcome you. Whoever believes in the Lord never fears intimidations such as: “You are destroyed”. Remember the Word: Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. (John 11.25). Believe in Christ, even though everything proves otherwise!
Fear makes people distress themselves and separate themselves from the One who said: I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly (John 10.10b). Therefore, refuse any alternative, because you already know the true Light that enlightens everyone. Be unwavering in your faith and shout out the victory in the Name of the blessed Savior. He is on your side. Amen?
In Christ, with love,

Lord of the Word that generates faith! It is good to consult You, for nothing will put fear in us. The statement sent by You will give us the strength we need to change hearts and make them understand that violence comes from the devil!
Every time something went wrong, it was because we did not seek You. The enemy used someone to harm us, leading us to transgress and reap the fruits of evil deeds. Mercy!
We cannot fear the kingdom of darkness. Being strengthened and kept by You, we will never be hit by the arrows of hell. It is good to be at Your side all the time, living on the Bread that You give us, filled with Your Holy Spirit!
