Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Matthew 5:8

To be pure in heart is already an advantage because we can’t be accused of anything by our conscience.  However we have to seek His blessing; otherwise we will not have the Lord abiding in us.

He who decides to walk with the Almighty should not be involved with the actions of the enemy, for certainly he will suffer great danger.  Our journey must be directed by the Holly Spirit who is the only true Friend.

The interior is cleansed on conversion when all sins are forgiven and that person is reborn in Jesus Christ to a victorious life.  Once this is so, it becomes only a matter of keeping in position.  If temptations arise, say no and don’t be drawn by ambition, because what the devil wants to inflict upon you, if successful, will harm you plenty.  Why lose yourself for eternity if you can maintain righteousness and win?

To remain clean, one must observe the biblical precepts and maintain the course set forth by not swerving to the right or to the left.  The evil one will certainly tempt you.  Often times he will sneak up on you like a real villain who doesn’t want to be noticed or discovered, trying to lead you to do wrong.  This way he can harm you in such a way that if you do not wake up you will believe that there is no solution, only perdition.

The devil will try anything in his power for his victim to believe that in their particular case certain wrong things are justifiable. There is no justification for transgression, unless you fell into the hands of the enemy and obeyed him.  Mercy!  There is nothing worse than to do what Satan desires.  As a liar and destroyer he will fill you with guilt, remorse and pain.  Those that do fall must lift themselves up, confess and decide that they will never sin again.

Realizing that the Christian will not fall into temptation knowing it to be sinful, Satan uses a very strong trap: covetousness.  This sin has led many people to spiritual bankruptcy. Example: The devil shows that someone was sent by the Almighty to someone who says they were not married according to “divine will” or his spouse was unfaithful.  Then, this person coveting that other person affirms their right to be happy and even thanks God.

Anything you feel is from God, but confronts the Word, comes from the devil.  So don’t live by your feelings, for man’s heart is deceptive and desperately corrupt.  (Jeremiah 17.9) Return to the Almighty, confess your mistakes to Him and in a healthy manner decide to leave the tempter.  Your life is worth more than any dirty pleasure; after all, you were redeemed to walk with the Father and always win.

To be tempted doesn’t mean you are a sinner; however if you accept the bidding of the devil, even if secretly, you will no longer be clean.  You will have displeased God and therefore you will not see Him. If this is what happened to you, repent now, confess your error and live again in holiness.  Otherwise, you will lose the greatest of all blessings: salvation.

In Christ, with love,

Holy Father!  Cleanse us, removing all accusations from our conscience.  You gave us salvations, forgiveness and Your strong hand; that is why we don’t want to stray from the Path.

We will be victorious by remaining in Your presence.  Illuminate our understanding so we obey Your precepts.  We want to be in Communion with You, knowing there is purification in the blood of Jesus Christ.

The devil strives to defeat us, to draw us away from Your presence and Your blessings.  Being Yours, however, nothing will remove us from Your plan.  No matter what the temptation might be, Your touch will prevent us from falling. Amen!
