For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ

I Thessalonians 5:9

God had a purpose in mind when He saved us: our well-being. But He saw what the devil did to the man He created in His image and likeness. Today, the Lord\’s heart breaks to see the many who have been deceived by the same enemy that one day was defeated by Jesus. Unfortunately, after salvation, many people go back to their old practices. We must bear in mind, however, that old things have passed away; all things have become new to those who are saved (II Corinthians 5:17). For this reason, the people of God cannot harbor hatred in their heart and should not get carried away by temptation, but rather they should walk in the love of God twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.

The Most High had the best in mind when He gave us the Gospel because He wanted us to be conformed to the image of His beloved Son, who was stripped of glory and came to this world of suffering to deliver the captives of Satan (Romans 8:29). Well, we have not yet gone to Heaven, where there is no work to be done; we are in this evil world where there are people who at this very moment are screaming in pain, people who are stealing and even being unfaithful to their spouse. We have a lot of work ahead of us, so we must take a stand and start doing God\’s work (Acts 10:38, I John 2:6).

He had mercy on us and saved us. After we were destined to obtain salvation His grace did not stop being poured. However, we should stop thinking only of ourselves; it is necessary that we remember our friends and relatives who are lost. We must do something for them because the redemptive work that reached us must also reach them. So, why not obtain salvation for them too?

We must seek all that is included in redemption because this is our fate. Divine healing, for example, is not only a sign that the Gospel is true, but is also part of the great suffering that Jesus went through to get us out of the enemy’s hands (Isaiah 53:4-5). Prosperity is also a right the saved ones are entitled to, and holiness must be a mark imprinted on our hearts (Hebrews 12:14). In short, we must seek all things the Lord has for us.

Do not accept anything bad in your life. The devil does not just steal material assets; he also causes your relatives and friends to not give due value to their conversion because then they will not seek the Lord. You must see your suffering as a plan of the devil for he knows that if your family notices that you changed due to your commitment to God, they will also want to turn to Him.

In Jesus there is everything we need to live in a decent and dignified manner, free from sin, diseases, poverty and sin. God has something great to do through you. So, obtain your blessing and, along with it, the salvation of many.

In Christ with love,
