You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. John 15.16

We are the Lord’s people on the face of the Earth, and that makes us special to Him. This privilege doesn’t come from our righteousness or anything exceptional we’ve done, but because He loved us and chose us to occupy a position of prominence. This position makes us partakers of His glory (Ephesians 2:4-10). The Most High’s purpose in us is far greater than we think!

It was out of God’s immense love for humanity that He decided that we be His special people, so that we could serve as an example to others, living in His holy and powerful presence. The promises made to His chosen ones – us – must be taught to all those who are moved to surrender themselves to Him as well. We must live soberly and holily, showing how good God is (1 Peter 1:13).

We can’t boast that we’ve been selected to be active role models. Instead, we must behave humbly, loving people just as Jesus loved us. Through His sacrifice, we were rescued from the kingdom of darkness. Christ suffered our punishment and, after saving us, gave us power to do His work (Isaiah 53.4-11). We have been called to serve God and our neighbor. Let’s be grateful to Him!

All Christians have been appointed, placed in the evangelization group created and trained by God, with the intention of showing the difference between being religious – those who think they are better than others – and sharing in divine glory. We have access to the Father and, because of this, we can lead those who are called to eternal life to Him. Our mission is noble, and we will do it as long as we submit to the biblical commandments.

We can’t stop simply because we want to enjoy a wonderful life, because that’s what truly awaits us in Heaven. While we are here, we need to spend our time consecrating ourselves and seeking the Lord’s anointing. In this way, we will free the lost from the moral and spiritual slavery that leads them down the dirtiest and most perverse paths (Philippians 3:17-21). The Gospel is the power of God in our midst, so that His Church may be edified. Our Kingdom is not here!

Teaching people to bear fruit is our mission! Therefore, we must not get involved in worldly affairs. In this way, we will avoid interrupting God’s work. We have to be under the Lord’s mantle, without straying to the right or to the left. In Christ, we have what is needed for a decent and holy life that pleases God. Seek to know the full teachings of Scripture. With this understanding, you will be accepted as a dedicated and working servant!

By living godly and victoriously before the one true God, you will be at the feet of Christ to be used by Him. So, whatever you learn is yours, claim it and you will have it. In the Name of Jesus, claim what has been revealed to you in the Word!
