Knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free.

Ephesians 6:8

The Word teaches us that there is nothing covered from God (Luke 12:2) for He sees even the most minute details, even the intentions of our heart; even the microscopic organisms such as viruses are revealed before the Lord. So it is good to always have good intentions in all things. The Christian who uses underhanded ways in business, who devises deceitful plans to achieve his goals or is carried away by sinful thoughts will surely repent of such behavior one day.

Even an impure gaze separates us from the Most High. So those who are single should seek their other half and get married. Those who are married need to strive to avoid staring at beautiful and charming people because whoever looks at other people with lust has already transgressed in their heart (Matthew 5:28). Those who are prone to it must pray, asking the Lord to deliver them from such temptation because Jesus taught us that if our eyes are good, our whole body will be full of light (Matthew 6:22b, Luke 11:34b).

The works of hell are successful in some of their attacks against the children of God, because many harbor wrong desires, living a double life: on the outside they seem to be holy, but on the inside they are filthy. When Jesus was here on earth, He did not need anyone to tell Him what man was like; after all He knew human nature very well.

The Lord has not lost his ability to search us but He does not keep a scrapbook to jot down our the wrongs we do. He records the good we do. With this in mind, you need not worry about wrongdoings and the fear of committing them because when you do good you start living in a different atmosphere and then you do not even have time to think about sin. So give yourself over to God through good works and when the last day comes, you will be surprised with the divine reward.

The position someone has in society does not matter at all. An individual may be considered an insignificant, simple person who has little to add to society, but for God he or she is of paramount importance in that they were made in His image and likeness and came into the world to fulfill a beautiful divine dream. Therefore, everyone should strive to do what pleases the Father so that they become as important as anyone else when their reward comes.

Never forget that Jesus promised there will be a reward to whoever gives one of His little ones a cup of cold water. So, by doing good things you will also be likening yourself to the Lord, who went around doing good deeds and healing all who were oppressed by the devil. Therefore, do good and get ready to come out of the Judgment with your hands full of blessings. God is faithful and will fulfill all His promises.

In Christ with Love,
