04/05/2020 - THE RICHES OF THE GLORY OF GOD´S MYSTERY

To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.  Colossians 1:27

The Lord’s appointed time for the Israelites to do a great work on earth had come since the day of Saul’s ascension and, later, of David as kings of Israel. The first disobeyed the divine order, which had reserved revenge on the Amalekites for the evil they had done to the people of God a thousand years before. I don’t know what else the Most High set aside for me to accomplish, but I would like to fulfill His plan with a note of excellence.

When he left for the Father, where he came from, Jesus commissioned His Church to go out into the world and preach the Gospel in the power of the Holy Spirit. I don’t want to know if there is another order that replaces that of the Master; for me, following the Savior’s example is healthy and rewarding. Everyone should strive to perform the same works He did in His day here. It is good to do what Christ has commanded us!

Everything that the Almighty gave to Jesus also gave to us: the same Spirit, the same anointing and the good promises available to the Savior in His earthly ministry. With His coming, we receive other blessings and ordinances. We only need to read the Bible to know what we need to do and what we should not think about. By obeying biblical commandments, we will not be condemned for what we did or failed to do. Whoever reads the Scriptures always gets it right.

Our call came for us to keep His Word. In the course of the preaching that the disciples would do, God would unveil the mystery, previously hidden. This started with the coming of the Lord Jesus and is now with us. Today, the Most High is unveiling His will, which is Christ in us, the hope of the glory of the Almighty.

We have to ask ourselves, “What are we doing in what we call God’s work? Preaching the Truth? Or do we preach it, but do we live in sin? ”. Have mercy! The Lord requires from us the responsibility of bringing the Good News to the ends of the earth. There are many lost thirsty for the Word. What will you do?
