“Now because of this King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah, the son of Amoz, prayed and cried out to heaven.” (II Chronicles 32: 20)

The enemy will always be wrong and all evil plans will be undone provided you join forces with the Lord. The devil gets ready for the battle; it takes him years to store up forces, then, all of a sudden, he throws himself against your life with the certainty he’ll manage to swallow you. Yet, it’ll be enough if you’ve already given yourself to God and if you know His Word and if you’re used to praying to our Father. Nothing plotted against you will ever prevail; that’s the inheritance of the servants of the Most High. We’re different from sinners; we have a covenant with our God who’s a valiant and unbeatable man in battles. Our fights belong to Him!

The Bible tells the story of King Sennacherib who had a foolish attitude. He thought his military power would be able to devastate the small kingdom of Judah, but he was very wrong. The Lord looks after His people – the Creator of the Heavens and Earth; the One who never sleeps (Psalm 121: 4); the One who fulfils all of His promises (Psalm 89: 34); the One who cannot be stopped by anyone when He operates (Isaiah 43: 13). Sennacherib had conquered many lands and humiliated their gods. But that King wasn’t aware that that people knew the way of victory when he went against those who served the true God. It took only one word from Hezekiah and prophet Isaiah with the Almighty God for Sennacherib to be put to shame. Defeated and frustrated, that King went back to his land to be murdered by his own children. We mustn’t play with or threaten those who have the Lord as their God!

Now you, a child of God, you who are reading this message, pay attention to the following! You’re the King over your life. Your family and your assets are your territory. Is the enemy threatening to steal the royal authority you’ve been granted by the Lord? Begin praying right now! If there’s nobody like Prophet Isaiah by your side to join you in your outcry, then I’ll offer you my services as such. Come on! Take a look at what Jesus stated: “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.” (Matthew 18: 19). Since we’re united now, we have the power to undo all of Satan’s plans. He won’t be able to cope with our God’s strength. The Lord heard the intercession of His servants in the past and He’ll also answer our prayer. In the name of Jesus, get rid of the shame which is over your kingdom. You’ve been made a King for God by Jesus. No weapon prepared against you will prevail; that’s your inheritance from the Most High (Isaiah 54: 17).

Everything written in the Scriptures is to cheer us up and to increase our faith. Sennacherib didn’t know that the Lord isn’t a product of men’s imagination. He’s the only God; He’s the true God. Religions from all over the world are full of human and devilish imagination. But, the Word of God is full of statements made by our Creator in our favour. They were written so we can fight the good fight through them. Our victory will become praises to our God. So, don’t let anyone defeat you; go ahead as a true warrior, in the Name of Jesus, and overcome all trials. You’ll be rewarded by our Father one day!
