08/09/2017 - THE ROD AND THE SIGNS

And you shall take this rod in your hand, with which you shall do the signs.  EXODUS 4:17

Moses received an order from the Most High: he had signs to do. He who receives an order from the Lord must accomplish it, under the penalty of being guilty for what happens to the people to which you were sent. Those called to missions can’t be drawn to error but must obey divine will with fear and trembling so that no flaws occur in the Most High’s project.

The future liberator sought out his father-in-law, for whom he worked, asked permission to see his brothers in Egypt, which was then granted. When something originates from Heaven and comes to us nothing can stop it from happening. We should not worry about the authorities, if they will allow us or not.  If God so wills it, who can oppose it?  When God calls us, He has already provided for everything that is necessary for it to happen. Just follow the plan!

God told Moses that those who were after him to kill him had already died. He would not have to answer to the crime of having killed to defend a Hebrew slave who was being unjustly beaten and whipped. Many people are being flogged and whipped with various types of oppressions by the devil and we must help deliver them not by our strength, but with and by the authority from the Almighty. He who is called is empowered to carry out the heavenly order.

Just as Moses’ opponents were already dead, the devils that could hinder and hold us back have already been defeated by Jesus through His sacrifice and death at Calvary. So don’t fear delivering the captives to freedom, healing the sick and giving hope to those who are down in sins and transgressions. The devil can no longer keep us from obeying the Lord, since He has prepared us for the battle.

Gather the members of your family and bring them to ride the “donkey” provided by the Lord, in order to arrive at the place of divine works. As you feel led by God as to how to proceed, start meek and humbly and you will soon do great works for Him. Remember to be vigilant and to pray because the defeated devils will try everything to pull you down too. God put you standing tall to succeed!

Take your rod – the authority you were given – because the enemies will always spring up to challenge you with illicit desires, temptations, wild offers and other schemes that may invalidate your struggles and efforts. Don’t take part in sin or give credence to popular saying that says “God communicates in peculiar ways.” Any and everything that happens under cover and hidden comes not from Heaven but from Hell. You have something powerful to accomplish. Do it in day light!

Moses had a mission to accomplish in Egypt – everything was revealed by Him.  The same will happen to you. Don’t underestimate the Almighty’s faithfulness to His plan through you. Moses should tell the Pharaoh to free the Hebrew people. If he did not, his first born would pay with his life.  Sadly, the Pharaoh did not release the people of Israel and his first born did die!
