“But the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; He is their strength in the time of trouble.” (Psalm 37:39)
Not even one sole human being is forsaken by God. The Lord looks on both the good and the wicked, the wealthy and the poor, the oppressed and the oppressors, and with His love He guides them all by keeping their lives safe and giving them Light so they can find solutions to their problems and fulfil their days on Earth. If the children of God really sought to fulfil the divine will, the world would be full of preachers and everybody would know the Gospel. But most people are only interested in what’s in it for them, not in fulfilling the divine plan.
The Lord always guides people in the way that leads to solution; on the very way shown by Him, the solutions are found as if by chance. We need to completely forget our church’s denomination, our dreams and all deceptive things in order to consecrate our lives to the noblest mission: evangelization. There will be no other opportunity for the lost ones to be saved and God wants to save them. We won’t have any other chance to gather riches for our eternal life, and each minute lost now will be lost forever.
The Word states that the salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord. It doesn’t mean that those who were righteous up to yesterday will be delivered from the crisis they’re going through now. Being righteous is to be constantly assuming your place in Christ and not giving place to the devil (Ephesians 4:27). A citizen can spend 80 years living faultlessly, but if one day he grabs a gun and kills someone, he will become a murderer and will be accountable before the law for the crime committed. Those who put the Word of God into practice will find that the Lord Himself will guarantee their salvation.
The enemy has been afflicting us for quite a long time. When we forget to keep our eyes open and to pray he comes up with his
temptations. Yet, though we haven’t done what we should have, The Most High guarantees that He’s our Strength in times of trouble. Never mind about the hardships in your life now! Don’t feel anguish about what you’re going through, but be strong because the Lord’s your Stronghold.
Don’t be overcome by evil. Stand up right now and rebuke the enemy who is behind the crisis that’s hit your home, led you into sinning and is now smothering you. Remember that God’s your Strength. There’s enough power in Christ at your disposal to provide you with the solution you need. It has all been written for you to live a happy life from now on.
