And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!

Galatians 4: 6

The greatest privilege someone may have is that of being called as a child of The Everlasting God. Being welcome in the divine family, they begin having the right of ownership and that of enjoying all of those blessings that come from The Lord. Jesus made it clear that He is also The Owner of everything that belongs to His Father and we can make the same declaration. Yet, our minds must sink into those statements in The Scripture so we will be able to enjoy such benediction.

When we become members of the divine family we become delivered from all and any condemnation because we have a clean record. Since there is no condemnation we can have peace in God (Romans 5: 1). At the same time we are rescued from the yoke of authority of the enemy and then we get power over his treacherous work. We only have to be acquainted with our ownership in Him so we will become more than conquerors.

The Lord wants to look at us the same way He does at His Firstborn Son. Jesus did everything that pleased His Father by fully fulfilling His will, and that is the reason why He was always answered. The more we give ourselves to The Lord the more we get from Him. Those who allow our Father to always be around are to do all they can to live on near The Lord. After all, He assumes His fatherhood when we assume our affiliation.

Once we were accepted by Him to be able to serve Him, God sent The Spirit of His Son, just as the verse above remarks, straight into our hearts. He is the assurance that we are indeed His children. With His awesome Spirit we are guided, instructed and enabled to do His will just like Jesus was. Those who have not been baptised yet in The Holy Spirit are to urgently seek such covering of power.

Apart from the peril of losing our salvation if we do not stay away from all sinful things another good reason for doing so is actually having the ownership of such Treasure, our Comforter. The Holy Spirit will not dwell in a house which gives in to temptations. The command of our Master is to look out and pray for us not to fall into temptation (Matthew 26: 41). The most massive harm a Christian may cause to himself is to be carried away by the plate of lentils of the enemy considering that a servant of God might, in that case, end up being devoid of the presence of The Holy Spirit in his life.

Christ knew that God was His Father and, for that reason, His pleas were always to be answered. We are also to have such a feeling. All those who believe in The Lord are qualified to do the same works He used to do considering that we have received power from His Spirit. Do not let the devil defeat you or you will be caught up in his hands, just like a cheap prey.

The advantages of having The Holy Spirit dwelling and operating in us are massive. Believe in everything that He tells you, because one of the duties of The Spirit is to guide us in all Truth by unveiling to us what had been said about us. Those who follow His counselling begin being treated and assisted just like Jesus was in His days.
