Should you not know that the LORD God of Israel gave the dominion over Israel to David forever, to him and his sons, by a covenant of salt?

II Chronicles 13:5

Being called and chosen by the Lord is one of the highest privileges one can have both in this world and the next. He to whom the eternal God points His finger and calls to be respected by the angels and the demons is free from all temptations. The power that those who are called by the Almighty possess is beyond understanding because they are invested with an authority that makes them fearless in the face of any attack from hell.

It was God who said that He honors those who honor Him (I Samuel 2:30). If he called me to be His and do His work, I have to honor Him. Therefore, regardless of what my daily activities are, I have to do the divine will and I must never get involved with any sin. If, however, I find that this work is only meant to be done by those who are called to make up the ministry, I will be disqualifying myself. Remember: those who honor the Most High will be honored by Him.

Everyone should notice that I am honored by the Lord. If this happens, I\’ll be preaching the most important message. The divine operations that others see in me will create in them an intense desire to give themselves to God as well. Therefore, as a Lord\’s chosen, you should not be afraid that your authority will not work. Remember that the call is given by the Creator without repentance and works forever.

The sovereignty that the heavenly Father gives His servants is related to everything that has to do with the Kingdom of God. Everyone who is saved and is filled with the Holy Spirit becomes a servant of Heaven and as doers of the Word they can be used in the most diverse and wondrous ways. What we see in the biblical accounts about the heroes of faith is what the Lord expects us to do in us and through us. God’s children must always be prepared for major works.

In the case of David and his descendants, their covenant was of salt (II Chronicles 13:5). As for us, the New Covenant is superior, based on higher promises and signed in the blood of Jesus. There is no possibility of any promises made by the Lord to fail. Given this fact, be fearless and take your stance in Jesus just as He did before God. In this regard, the basic difference between our ministry and the Lord’s is that He believed in all that the Father spoke to Him, and this is something that perhaps we do not do.

Wasn’t it important for you to know that the Creator gave eternal participation to you in His holy ministry? So, exert your authority, be firm, confident and do not let the devil invade your life and your family’s any longer.
