Why be rebellious and live away from the Almighty, if He is the only Way that leads you away from suffering? Those who are obedient to the biblical precepts prove the faithfulness of the word that comes from the lips of Jesus. Those who despise the Scriptures will find that no help is available for them, and therefore they will suffer the damage of the evil actions that will arise. The Lord is good!
Israel was carried away by the bad news of the ten spies. These said that it was impossible to possess that land, the inhabitants were giants and the cities walled up to heaven. However, Joshua and Caleb declared: Only do not rebel against the Lord, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the Lord is with us. Do not fear them. (Numbers 14.9). However, the people believed the lie and lost.
Moses and Aaron became angry with the Israelites and were considered rebellious: For in the Wilderness of Zin, during the strife of the congregation, you rebelled against My command to hallow Me at the waters before their eyes.” (These are the waters of Meribah, at Kadesh in the Wilderness of Zin.) (Numbers 27.14). We must not let the wrath of man’s heart guide us. We must submit to the Lord’s sayings and carry them out!
The greatest example of obedience came from Jesus, when He left His position of God, at the Father’s side, and came to die in our place. The Word declares: And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. (Philippians 2.8). He was obedient unto death on a cross. By shedding His blood, the Messiah delivered us from the empire of death, giving us His life!
The obedient will inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. They will never rebel against God’s will. Nothing will stop them from following the Lord until the Judgment. The message to them is: Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; (1 Peter 1.13-14).
Whoever abandons the Lord, becoming a lying son, will never see the glory of God, for his shame and sins will not be blotted out. Those who honor the Lord follow the direction of Heaven: Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him. (Colossians 3.9,10).
Want to hear the law of the Lord in a complete way: The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; (Psalm 19.7). Besides having a refreshed soul, you will have the wisdom that will make you successful in everything. Honor what God says and live happily!
In Christ, with love,

Our God! We don’t want to be satisfied with little, for You are the God of abundant life. We desire to be Your faithful children, part of the people who are called by Your Name, and therefore victorious in all matters.
You have taken us out of the power of darkness and carried us into the Kingdom of Your beloved Son, where You have settled us in Christ. We long to do Your will and to go beyond, that You may teach us to fulfill Your command. We are Yours!
We open our mouths that You may fill them with wisdom, power, and holiness. We are not wicked, but Your beloved children in Christ. We want to hear Your voice and stand firm until You bring us into Your Kingdom. Amen!
