Put on the whole armour of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Ephesians 6: 11

The reason why we ought to put on all the armour of God is that each revelation of The Word gives us protection against any assaults from the devil. That is why it is good to take note and it is also good never to despise those lessons taught to you in The Word of God. The best thing that may happen to us is to know The Law from the mouth of God and then actually live our lives based on IT. In doing so, you will be sheltered against the cunning traps of the enemy.

Being our Lord, The Omniscient God, He is well aware of all the plans of our adversary. No reckoning of the enemy is unknown to The Most High even before being contemplated in his mind. In view of that reality, The Lord sends us a revelation which is nothing but one of His armours. Therefore, the right thing for us to do is to put on the complete outfit of God. Thus, the devil will not be able to touch us.

One thing is certain, The Most High has loved us and, with the blood of Jesus, He bought us for Himself. You may be certain that our Father would never indulge in seeing any of His children becoming a servant of our enemy. That is why, provided you are honest with Him, and each time He says something to you through the Scriptures, and you assume that truth, you may be assured that nothing, absolutely nothing from the tempter will ever get into your life nor will anything destroy you.

Therefore, being clothed with all the divine armour, the devil’s snares and schemes engineered to catch you are absolutely insignificant and ineffective. Even though he may have worked out the subtlest temptations which ought to be true traps for you, there is not the slightest possibility for them to prosper. The devil cannot defeat a Christian who is clothed appropriately.

There is nothing else you ought to seek out to stay away from the enemy’s assaults except from standing firm in faith. But that only happens to those who are covered up with all the armour of God. He graciously grants you His weapons considering that He knows that they are unbeatable and absolutely out of reach of the enemy. With them, you are ready for your victory.

Those Christians who despise the divine revelations are putting The Lord to shame. We can find them everywhere and we ask all of you to pray for them. As they take that attitude they are confessing that they are not clothed with the heavenly outfit. Be wise and do not let yourself be lured by the greatest deceiver. Thus, you will be the joy of The Lord; otherwise, you will be the sorrow of our Father. Your victory is God’s victory.

There will be a reward for those who do not let themselves be overcome by temptations. On the Great Day, The Lord will reward all those who have wrestled and have ultimately won. Our battle is not hard to be fought considering that Jesus has already beaten all hellish powers for us. We are destined to enjoy the victory that the Son of God prepared for us at His death on the Calvary. Therefore, you must always be dressed up with your victory outfit.
