God does not exaggerate in His rebuke. He knows that we are flesh and can stray from the Way forever. Even when angry, the Lord never exceeds the measure that we can bear. However, at the same time He exposes the reasons for His anger, He tells us how to get out of the conflicting situations. The Most High rejects those who show themselves rebellious, because, being a Consuming Fire, He would destroy the person with whom He was angry (Hebrews 12.29).
Divine wrath leads us to repentance, and it lasts only for a short time, lest we get lost in the paths of wickedness: For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning (Psalms 30.5). Accept the Lord’s favor, revealed in the act of rebuking us. Our fault would lead us to eternal punishment. He does not allow us to abandon the good!
Israel gave a thousand reasons for the Lord to despise them eternally, but because of the Covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Creator did not do this to His vineyard. He treats us the same way today – He will never give up our salvation. Then, all we have to do is turn to Him, confess our errors, and we will be reinserted into the group of the saved (1 John 1.6-2.2). He is good!
The Lord took the Old Testament Church with His mighty wind, and it was sent to the place it should have never known: captivity. Isaiah wrote this a century before Babylon invaded Judah and took the best of that nation into bondage. It was 70 years of suffering. With their sins, those sons of Jacob despised the Land of Promise and sold themselves to the enemy for nothing. Poor lives!
It was this same strong wind that opened the Red Sea with the touch of Moses’ rod (Exodus 14.21). To the rebel, that was mere coincidence, like all the miracles narrated in the Bible. Those who do not have God’s Spirit are wrong all the time, because they are not His: But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His (Romans 8.9). Beware of those who do not believe in the Word!
We are still in the time of the east wind, and many were collected, after having served the Lord joyfully and in an exemplary manner. Otherwise, they would no longer be saved. The Word promises blessings beyond measure to those who are happy with salvation and steadfast in faith, pleasing the Father, declaring: We will rejoice in your salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners! May the Lord fulfill all your petitions (Psalms 20.5).
Enter into the New Covenant, made in the blood of Jesus, and reject the lies and tricks of the enemy. Discard the devil’s offers! If you accept them, you will go from bad to worse, but if you get right with the Father and willing to overcome temptations, none of your prayers will be rejected (John 15.7)!
In Christ, with love,

God of the right measure! You contain us when we transgress, but do so within what we can bear. Therefore, we love You with all our hearts. Your counsels are extremely important. In the Name of Jesus, counsel us!
May we not be so far gone that we have to face the east wind, which comes with fury and destructive power. We want to be content with the Holy Spirit guiding us. May our prayers and thanksgiving be to You. Then, we will continue to be protected by You!
You loved us first, teaching us to love You in a biblical way - to have and to keep the commandments. Never reject us, but remember that we are dust and often do not keep ourselves as we should. We thank You for the assurance that nothing will take us out of Your hands!
