“Surely they intend to topple me from my lofty place; they take delight in lies. With their mouths they bless, but in their hearts they curse.” Psalm 62.4

The success that the righteous achieves in his faith in Christ makes the wicked sting in anger. Among them, there is an agreement to bring God’s servant down from his position. Thereby, they consult each other to know how this will be possible. So, with pleasure they tell lies, bless with their mouth, congratulate, and in their hearts, there are curses that they do get tired of to send out to the righteous; no doubt about it, the plan is worked out by Satan.

The secret is to only trust God and train your soul to quietly wait for divine actions; with that, the righteous will see the Lord’s salvation. However, if you panic or get angry with what happens to you and you attack, using a human weapon, you might even win, but in the end, you will notice that this was not God’s plan. Believe: wait on the Lord without being impatient and without opening your mouth, this will really take you to a truthful victory.

We have King Asa’s example, that when the King of Israel attacked, he seeked for help with King Syria, who had confederated with the King of Israel and apparently succeeded. So Baasha, seeing that the Syrians had abandoned him and accepted the gifts from Asa withdrew from the cities of Judah which he had taken over. With the material Baasha had left, Asa built two cities, but God’s plan was for Syria’s army to fall into his hands.

It doesn’t matter if the wicked speculates on how to bring down the righteous, they will fail. The righteous has God by their side, therefore when the anointing comes upon you, the power of evil will fall apart. But if you fear and seek help in whom the Almighty has not raised to help His people, or act like the lost, you will offend the Almighty. The only way for God’s people to conquer is to seek and follow the divine direction.

Now, the righteous has the Almighty as their rock. Once firmed on the Lord, you will not be shaken by the wind of the enemy. The Lord is the salvation of the righteous, therefore there’s not a chance of a son of God to lose a battle. The secret is to trust what the Creator said and use faith that was given to you to face the enemy’s traps and overcome them. The righteous will always bring praise to the Lord.

If what we have talked about here is what has happened in your life, do not fear. The Almighty, who has told you many times, sees everything, and at the right time, will make the wicked fall. The victory will be for whoever trusts what the Almighty has said, thereby, he will not be struck (Ps. 91.7). Why be shaken if the Almighty has promised to be your helper. Follow what your faith in Jesus tells you, for your faith has been given to you in order to make you a winner.
