…for we are not ignorant of his devices.
II Corinthians 2:11
The devil\’s kingdom is organized: his demons serve him with fear and, at the same time, with absolute fidelity. If his kingdom is divided, it will come to an end so he concocts his evils plans and his servants do not leave any detail unattended.
Satan’s devices against us are evil and destructive. Therefore, whoever is involved with him will, sooner than thought, have serious problems; after all, the enemy knows no mercy or forgiveness and neither will he ever mend his fallen and sinful ways. The only thing man can do to stop the devil’s onslaughts is to know the divine will and, with faith, command them to be gone, at which point the power from on High gets into action and as a result, no matter how hard the evil one tries to thwart the Lord’s work, he will not be successful.
The wiles of Satan are always available. He comes up with lots excuses for the sins of men. There is not even one single misdemeanor whose perpetrator has not been tricked by the prince of darkness, for he embeds into people’s minds, for example, the urge to have an extramarital affair, to commit a crime, or to commit any other dirty act. His snares are known right off the bat for our heart refuses to fall into them. However, the ones who will certainly fall in the tempter’s clutches are those who remain stiff-necked instead of abiding by God’s guidance.
My brethren, make sure whether something comes from the Lord or not by following this reasoning: all that is discordant with the revelation of His Word comes from hell. Therefore, everything that fills our heart with doubts concerning what we are allowed to do is not from God, otherwise you would not be so uncertain. Well, whatever comes from the Most High gladdens our soul; but when something comes from the devil, our spirit has no peace.
Your attitude toward a temptation you will prove whose son or daughter you are: those who are of God conduct themselves in accordance with the divine tenets; on the other hand, those who have not left the realm of darkness are under the authority of the evil one, and their actions are taken in obedience to his plans. Start doing God\’s work and do not ignore the wiles of the adversary, which will always give you a lot of excuses to try to make you fulfill his wishes and get trapped in his clutches. Only do what the Word authorizes you to do!
