10/12/2015 - THE WORD ON GOOD GROUND

But other seed fell on good ground and yielded a crop that sprang up, increased and produced: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred. Mark 4.8

There is nothing better than having our hearts in the Way, without stones or thorns. Thus, the devil cannot interfere in our lives or lead us to fulfill his purpose. The Word of Christ must dwell abundantly in us, so that we may know the good, pleasing, and perfect will of the Lord (Rm 12.2). Those who are saved must watch and pray so that they do not fall into temptation and get defeated by the enemy.

If the Seed falls on good ground, it will yield the fruit that it was made for. Just like the Israelites had to take care of the land that flowed milk and honey, by caring for the soil, sowing in the proper season, and caring for the grass not to destroy the plantation, we must also keep our hearts “clean” and “fertilized”. When the Most High sends His rain, we must sow the Seed, in order for us to reap the crops later.

There is nothing that produces so much as the Seed of the Lord. Depending on how much faith there is, it will yield three thousand percent, five thousand percent or ten thousand percent, which would never be possible humanly speaking. With the heavenly Father, the answers are always on the superlative, for He does not know any scarcity or impossibility. Those who cooperate with Him make the right decision.

This example of productivity can be seen in the life of Isaac, the son of Abraham, who because of a draught, was going to Egypt. When he was halfway gone, the Lord stopped him and ordered him not to go to that land, but to stay in the place where He would show him. If you, my dear reader, are going through a crisis, do not go where there is no fear of God. Stay in the place that He has told you to be, and wait for an abundant crop.

Isaac was obedient to the divine order. Therefore, he stayed in the land showed by the Most High, and when he went to sow, he reaped in that same year a hundred times more, which is exactly ten thousand percent. This servant of God must have felt how good it is to trust in the Almighty, for since he believed, he had a crop that had never been obtained by a farmer before. Only those who obey the Lord see His glory operating on their favor. Do you respect Him?

Isaac’s example should inspire every child of God to obey Him and prove to all other people that He is faithful. A Christian with problems is almost always living far away from the Word. The Word should assume the place where the Lord is missing. When we respect it, we honor the Almighty. Then, His immense power acts in our favor.

We only need to listen to the Word and receive it, for the phenomenal production belongs to the Omnipotent. We do not have to pay any price to enjoy the abundant life that Jesus has given us. We must only believe and follow the divine orientations. Enter in prayer, confess your mistakes and sins, ask and receive forgiveness and live victoriously.

In Christ, with love,

R. R. Soares

Father, our multiplier! How good it is to know that there is no scarcity for You, and no difficulty for You to operate in the lives of those who believe in You. Take away all things that hinder Your operation, and at the same time, come anoint and strengthen us.

We do not want to be on the side of the Way, with stones in our hearts and thorns in our lives. What a contradiction! The world applauds those who let the cares of life, the fascination of riches, and other worldly ambitions to possess their souls.

However, we will only make mention of Your Name, and therefore, we will not need to worry about tomorrow, but about doing Your will. May the religious precepts never drive us away from Your Word. Then, we will give You the praise You deserve.
