“The words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem.” (Ecclesiastes 1:1)
One of the most blessed things you can do in your life is to spend time listening to what the preachers of the Word of God announce. Each one of them has a unique anointing. The gift they have brings within itself the necessary power to fulfil the divine purpose. It’d be so good if all of them only spoke up when driven by the Holy Spirit because when it happens our heart recognizes it, it burns in the sacred flame, our spirits are enlightened and strengthened.
Sometimes when I was young I’d feel desperate and oppressed due to some kind of problem, I’d be upset by the way I was living my life, so I would go to church where a servant of the Lord was delivering the divine message. I was a new person as I got out of the church. The admiration I have for those men who were used by God to talk to me is enormous. I’m sure that those who have already gone to stay with our Father after having accomplished their mission, as well as those who are still alive, will surely be rewarded for the good they’ve done to me and to the whole congregation that was under their loving care.
The preacher mentioned in the book of Ecclesiastes is Solomon, David’s son, king of Israel. When Solomon was introducing himself he referred to the one who set the example for him: David. The psalmist was not only the preacher’s biological father; he was also a man of God who taught him to walk in the holy Paths. I could tell you of many examples in my life like that one –men the world wasn’t worthy of but who let themselves be used to teach the first letters of the glorious Gospel of Jesus with love, dedication, purity of soul and without any feeling of greed or envy.
What gives me more joy is that those men – who were father figures to me – were children of the Lord Jesus, the true King of Jerusalem and of the whole Universe. I’m also His son, that’s the reason why I can tell you I’m a privileged man because that title makes me an heir of God and a joint heir with Jesus of all the riches of our Heavenly Father. There’s no greater honor than that. May the glory be to God!
I hope you’ll offer your life on the altar of the Lord as well; your spiritual membership is extremely significant. Don’t frustrate the Most High but do all you can to honor Him! You’ll see He honors those that honor Him. We were called to become members of His royal family and nothing or nobody can ever take that away from us.
Find out your vocation so that you can be a complete person. See what God has in store for your life. Don’t let yourself be carried away by the enemy’s offerings; they’re an illusion. The Word of God tells you to be a blessing. So, be obedient to our Father!
In Christ, with love,
