But You have saved us from our enemies, and have put to shame those who hated us.

Psalm 44:7

The prophecies were given for us to believe in them, so the Lord can see to it that what they announce becomes reality in our lives. However, those who despise the Lord\’s message will undoubtedly suffer a great loss. So do not ignore it, just accept it and believe what God says. The promise for those who do so is to see the glory of God (John 11:40). Do not be fooled by the enemy, believing that it is difficult to live by faith. Ordain the accomplishment of what the Lord has spoken. After all, would you rather see the glory of God or the operation of evil?

With the fall of Adam, hell conquered the right to oppress human beings. Since then, what we have seen in this world is wickedness ruling over man. Cain slew his brother Abel and mankind was completely corrupted to the point that God had to send floodwaters to cleanse the earth from evil (Genesis 7:6). And yet soon afterwards, Ham, one of Noah\’s sons, was cursed by his father due the sin he had committed (Genesis 9:20-25).

World history is full of people who acted crazy and committed many sins before the Almighty. On the other hand, the story of the servants of God is marked by those who have surrendered themselves to the Lord and did great things for Him. In which history book would you like your name and deeds to be written?

The great blessing came when the Lord sent His Son to our planet in order to destroy the works of the devil. It was not God\’s plan that Satan continued here, doing bad things, so the mission that the Father gave to Jesus was to end that evil feast. While He was in our midst, Christ cast out demons and also taught us to send them away. Today, however, most people who call themselves Christians have never cast one out.

There are even people who have never witnessed the deliverance of a demon-possessed individual but they have seen relatives or friends commit suicide or fall into adultery and other sinful practices perpetrated by God’s people; nonetheless, they never see or do what they should and as a result they miss out on the great purpose of the coming of Christ and of their lives.

The Lord Jesus is our role model. We must examine the things He did because they serve as a lesson to us all. The Master was successful in His mission, leaving nothing to be done at another time. Take this as a commandment and do your part. If the coming of Christ occurred now, how many of your family and friends would be lost forever? Are you really sure you would ascend with the Lord or would you head towards thick darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth (Matthew 25:30)?

With the work accomplished by the Son of God we were saved from our enemies; moreover, all the demons were confounded – and will remain in this condition forever. My brother, based on your actions, have you confounded the demons or made them happy? You have an obligation to fulfill what God has commanded you to do and in so doing you will prove you have been risen by the Lord and can use the Name of Jesus in all situations. So do not be dismayed and do not hide because there is no such thing as escaping from the Lord’s presence!
