09/10/2010 - The worst damage’s still to come

“For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,”
(Romans 1. 20)

Before the curiosity of a French scientist called Louis Pasteur, humankind didn’t know that a microscopic world existed along with it. Even though Salomon had written many centuries before that the little foxes spoiled the vines (Songs 2. 15), researchers still today can’t either say or prove that a countless variety of unnoticed beings to human eyes are behind diseases that turn millions of people’s lives into hell to the point of destroying them.

However, apart from those invisible beings, there are also angels and demons who, subjected to their hierarchies, fight either in our favour or against us respectively. The angels obey the command of the Lord; as for demons, they work to carry out the filthy and destructive plans of Satan, their leader.

The angels – those magnificent beings who begin to operate whenever we put the Word of God into action – are just waiting for us to stand up and to assume our position in Christ for them to fulfil the divine will.

All the things that were created show those which are concealed. There’s nothing sadder than to see someone saying they don’t believe in God. Those who do that are tremendously possessed by darkness that they don’t manage to see that what exists hasn’t come up by chance; it came into Light through Someone infinitely bigger and more capacitated than any other creation. He’s eternal just like His power and His works. Even men will always be worked on, however their suffering or however sinful they are.

The verse mentioned above states the following: nobody will be free from taking responsibility; we’ve got to look at what exists around us to realise that it’s our responsibility to know our Creator. He’ll avenge those who refuse to know Him one day. Everyone could live abundantly; everyone could enjoy harmony and do only good deeds. Yet, unfortunately, many let themselves be carried away by the enemy and they get involved with wrongdoings. Those who close their eyes to the purpose of God when He created them will be thrown into the lake that will burn for eternity one day – that will be the most ruthless kind of suffering ever. Those people will taste the second death which will get them apart from our Lord eternally (Revelation 20. 14; 21. 8).

The worst damage of those who will be thrown in that lake won’t be just the suffering they’ll go through – which, by the way, will be horrible and it will never cease – but also that they won’t have the chance to enjoy the riches in store for the righteous, for centuries and centuries, when they’ll know the creative and loving character of our Father. Think about it!
