05/06/2015 - THERE MIGHT BE TRIAL DURING OBEDIENCE

Now it happened after these things that the son of the woman who owned the house became sick. And his sickness was so serious that there was no breath left in him. 1 Kings 17:17

Most of us have been acting like children. When our faith is put to the test, we almost always complain and murmur. It is not supposed to be this way. Actually, if the Lord is in control of our life, we should be happy to be able to learn from the experience He gives us. Those who don’t care about what is being preached, act wrongly. Be careful! We will pay for every unproductive word we say.

We need to be aware, as Christians, of all the trials that we never thought we would go through. However, God is never surprised; He prepared everything beforehand (Ephesians 2.10). Therefore, the enemies’ attack in your life will not have any effect, just pray and seek God’s direction, who has put His power at the disposal of those who believe in Him (Job 14.12)

He who does not live in Christ or does not have His word does not know what he is missing. Elijah, the prophet, didn’t understand what was happening and thought that the death of the widow’s son was an affliction (1 Kings 17.20). The same way, we have many times missed the opportunities that come before us so that we open our mouths and do the work, thus, we have missed out on many of the Almighty´s work.. Next time something occurs, use your Christ given authority and act.

Do not fear difficult situations; remain strong in faith. If you separate yourself from the Lord, you will never be able to hear His directions and solutions to problems. He who believes should not believe that the devil has won any battle, but feel like he has to do God’s will and see the fulfillment of divine will . What matters in our life is God’s plan for our life.

By seeing her dead son, the woman blamed the prophet, as if he reminded her of her mistakes in her youth. She did not know that it was the Spirit of God working. Sometimes, even the most simple rock can get in the way of God’s wonders. So we should always be strong in faith, because, when an opportunity comes, you will not be ashamed. We are called to be victorious, so it does not matter what trials get in our way.

Elijah asked for the boy’s dead body (v.19). It is necessary to lay those who are weak and oppressed where God has visited them and given them rest. It is sad when Christians use their bed to do wrong things, being led by temptation. If that has been happening to you, obtain forgiveness from the Lord by confessing your sins with sincerity. Trust in the way He wants you to go so you can be fulfilled in Him.

The Lord listens to the call of those who have Faith in Him (Mark 5.34). Incredulity will not be accepted by God, because it is an evil in our heart. By following the divine orientations, Elijah made the boy’s soul return. The same way, your health will come back, your problem will be solved, and the Lord will be glorified with your victory.

In Christ, with love,

Lord of life! In our walk of Faith, we come across incidents that test our Faith and, many times, makes us complain because of what has happened. But the truth is that You do not listen to the complaints, but only to our faith.

It would be great if we always had that Spirit, that way our victories would be constant. But to be permanent and abundant in us, we need to be strong in the Words of Jesus and they have to be rooted in us. That way we will not lose one single battle.

However, even during the worst trial, we know we will be heard if we call You because we are Your servants. Those who do not know You may blame us for what happened, but the truth is that we are a part of the solution. Thank You for hearing the call of those who serve You in spirit and in truth.
