My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?   

Psalm 42:2

It’s impossible not to drink water when you are very thirsty. If your soul is thirsty for the living God – the one who operates in favor of those who believe in Him – you will be one of the most blessed person of all times. Those who are thirsty for the presence of the Lord have peace and health, and their dreams are fulfilled. If you ask Him, He will make you thirsty for His presence.

The people who served God during the biblical times, or even during other times, were always thirsty for Him. Every Christian person today should ask the Lord that his or her soul would be taken over by the majestic presence of the Omnipotent. This way, we will become people who serve the Almighty and our necessities shall be fulfilled.

There are no privileged people in His kingdom, and no one grows spiritually speaking by chance. Jesus taught us that whoever asks shall receive, whoever seeks shall find, and whoever knocks shall be attended (Matthew 7:8). Don’t try to serve God in any other way other than the way the Scriptures tell us to. The Lord shall do today, the same He did in the past. However, He can only fulfill your thirst if you are thirsty. Don’t expect to find what you are not looking for.

Take hold of the invitation the Lord is making to you, and enter into His presence, always seeking to do His will. Don’t get stuck thinking about something over and over, believing it was the voice of God speaking to you. Whenever you are listening to the message of the Gospel, or reading the Bible, be alert, because this is how God speaks to His people. It doesn’t matter if He speaks through His Word or personally, because there is really no difference.

If you don’t abandon what the Lord speaks to you, and if you stand firm on what He has revealed to you, you will always be before His presence. You will then be able to assume your position, because none of His words shall fail. Doing exactly what He says, you shall act just like Jesus would if He were in your place.

Once you’ve received the heavenly orientation, your part serving the Lord should begin immediately without fear, because the Most High will never give you a mission without giving you the tools to fulfill this mission. You will have success if you don’t deviate to the left or to the right. Stand firm on His revelation, and with all your strength, ordain that the revelations from God be fulfilled.

Those who have the Lord as their God can’t even imagine loosing a battle, because He has promised that the enemy will never prevail against His servants (Isaiah 54:17). God himself shall cause our enemies to fall to the ground. Therefore, we cannot accept any other options but to overcome, overcome and overcome. By being thirsty for the Lord, you will become victorious!
