The verse we will now study follows the previous one, in which Solomon spoke of the dead and of those who, because they were not yet born, had not seen the evil works done under the sun. But, since we live after Jesus’ victory over the devil and his demons, we have to think about the people oppressed by the evil empire, because we are able to deliver them.
Whoever is born in the Kingdom of God is fortunate, because he can enjoy the new life, being totally freed from evil oppression. While the book of Ecclesiastes cast a dark cloak over the people of that time, Jesus calls happy those who suffer for the sake of justice, for they will be comforted (Matthew 5:4). We must go to the four corners of the world and tell everyone about today’s new reality.
The message of the cross of Christ inspires us to preach that the poor in spirit have the Kingdom of Heaven available to them, those who mourn will be comforted, the meek – those who submit to God – will inherit the earth, and those who hunger and thirst for righteousness shall be filled. Each one must do a self-analysis to see if they are teaching the people correctly. The Bible must be the Christian’s standard of living (John 1:12).
The time to cry for the afflicted has passed. It’s time to announce the end of winter. The days of mourning are over and the days of singing have arrived. We need to do works like those of the Master. Nain’s new widows need to be comforted, just as that one was. Sinners with their perfumes have Jesus’ feet to anoint and kiss, and the Simons must know how much they love the one who is forgiven a lot. Jesus set the example for us!
It is good to find someone who had cancer, discredited by medicine, and was healed; the one who managed to get out of bankruptcy and pay his debts, as well as the one who was delivered from drugs, dishonesty and so many other bad things and, now, preaches the Word, which freed him from the devil’s clutches. We cannot go back, but we must interpret the Scriptures as the Savior did. The world awaits our appearance and our ministry. God is Faithful!
Happy are those who have washed their garments in the blood of the Lamb and, therefore, can stand before the Most High and call him Father with true dignity. To see change in people’s lives through us is exciting. It is worthwhile to give the lost the message that quickens, restores dignity and gives back the joy and purity that exist in Christ. We have every reason to love the Lord, don’t we?
The world today can be compared to the period of the Roman Empire. At that time, many laughed at Christians and called them crazy for believing in one God. The Romans believed in a plurality of gods and listened to the apologists, but ignorant of the true faith. We have the power of the Holy Spirit to set people free. Halleluiah!
In Christ, with love,

Oh Father! We are grateful that many will join Your family. We want to understand more what we need to do with the power we were given. The world is in danger and we can save the lost, for You have given us the authority to do so.
The message preached by Jesus and the faith can do in the lives of the unsaved what You did in the ministries of Paul and Peter, when they prayed for the sick and oppressed in Jerusalem, Lydda, Joppa and so many other places. Halleluiah!
We are the blessed ones mentioned by Christ. Our crying ended and laughter began. The devil will never stop your Church from advancing. It will carry the precious seed, which will sprout showing the transformation of millions of people. Amen!
