Some people study and become educated; others receive wisdom by observing the attitude of the wise. But when it comes to the spiritual life, such understanding comes from listening to the preaching of the Word (Proverbs 9:10). Anyone who resists God’s declarations will never be wise in the spiritual realm. Even if they try hard, they will never achieve this grace, because when it comes down to it, they won’t be able to prove that they love God!
The wise person doesn’t need to make an effort to accept the commandments, because when they become a new creature, they receive the divine precepts with the joy of one who has been converted (2 Corinthians 5:17). When someone thinks about whether or not to become a new creature, they are not sure whether they believe in Jesus, the Savior. There is no disagreement between those who love God and the Lord who loves them too; after all, the saved become one with the Most High (John 14:23)!
This union with God will only come about after those who repent have given their lives to Jesus. Surely a sinner cannot be one with the One who is holiness and a consuming fire (Hebrews 12:29). If the ungodly were to consider the possibility of being one with the Father, they would be struck down in the first second of that union. Converts have become saints, so nothing bad will happen to them when they unite with the Lord (1 Corinthians 1:2). Seek salvation now!
When a person receives the Lord, all areas of their life are transformed. At that moment, their sins are forgiven, and they are justified – cleared – even of those mistakes that would have had harmful results (Romans 5:1; 1 Corinthians 6:11; Galatians 2:16). Then their spirit is recreated and their soul is washed in the blood of Jesus. Thus, they are born into the divine family, because everything is made new. What a blessing!
At the moment of salvation, the promise made in Jeremiah is fulfilled: But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people (Jeremiah 31.33). Therefore, in order to know what is permitted and what is not, the law is recorded on the tablets of the new convert’s heart. Thus, they become wise in heart.
Christians are born to a living hope in God. If they stand firm in their faith in God, they will never again be seen as sinners, and their end will be Heaven of light. The faithful servant cannot be compared with the religious, for they do not have a recreated spirit and will not enter the Kingdom of God (John 3:3-6). The saved will not be in the eternal Judgment, for they have passed from death to life (John 5.24).
The verse we’re studying mentions the fool talker, the chatterbox, who, not being saved by Jesus, will be left out of the place destined for those who have accepted the Lord. Instead of being converted, the babbler talks about what he doesn’t know and doesn’t seek knowledge in the Holy Word, thus ignoring the divine warning that warns us of this error. The crazy talker will be disturbed, the saved will not!

God of the New Covenant! Why do some people put off their own salvation? They could be citizens of Your Kingdom the moment Your hand reached out to them, offering them new and eternal life with You, in Your Glory!
You want to write Your law on the tablets of our hearts. That way, we will never again be deceived by the enemy with empty words and temptations. When someone is converted, there is a celebration in Your Kingdom. It will be beautiful to live there!
Father, You declare that You want to be our God, and we Your people. With salvation, we will live for You, doing Your will and freeing ourselves from the lies that the devil insists are harmless. We are grateful that You forgive us completely!
