Teach me Your way, O LORD; I will walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your name.

Psalm 86:11

Even the most enlightened among men do not have enough light to enable them to walk in the spiritual world – where everything is decided. And this is because without God’s help nothing can be accomplished. Everyone can be taught by the Lord God; however, many people do not know it, so sometimes they are misguided, they do not seek such assistance, which would undoubtedly lead them to full accomplishment in all areas of their lives.

In the petition of the verse above, David was representing mankind. In fact, we should all say that prayer because it pleases the Lord to hear such words from our lips. After all, he who prays according to the divine direction obtains the answer he longs for. The Psalmist understood the guidance from Heaven, so he entreated God and received an answer. Make sure you pray that way because in so doing you will receive what was given to David. With the revelation of the Word of God, we are blessed.

We need to walk on God’s path because besides being perfect it is the path the Lord uses to do His work. When we walk on this path, we do not fail in judgment, because this is one of the prerogatives of the righteous. As for the wicked, those who have no respect for what the Bible says, they will always fail. Keep in mind the request made by the Psalmist, be firm and strong according to the Lord’s guidance.

When asking for divine revelation, you must never despise what God wants to teach you. Many people make the mistake of thinking that the instruction they receive from the Lord when they pray is weak. But the Father would never teach them anything rather than the best solution. He knows all things; He knows the root of the problems so we must believe in His guidance.

By knowing the Way – the Truth – you will be freed by Truth itself. If you do what you are taught, you will get the same result the Lord would get if He were in your place. God told Joshua He would be with him as He had been with Moses (Joshua 1:5). Likewise, He will be with you as He was with Jesus. The Most High does not skimp on power and neither does He disregard anyone for any reason whatsoever.

The name of Jesus is Almighty. Before Him the angels bow, the demons flee in terror and men revere Him. Be wise and walk with your heart united to fear His name. The devil and his demons cannot resist those who go against them in the name of Jesus.

He who leaves for a battle in awe of this Name, which is above all names, can rest assured that he will return with victory in his hands. The glory of the Name of the Lord will never be put to shame in any trial. Unite your heart to fear this wondrous Name and never back down in your decisions for in so doing you will not be defeated.
