Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD. Proverbs 16:20

God’s counseling is given to our welfare.  When He forbids something, He is going against the enemy’s plans. He is not a very boring person. Everything that comes from Him is good, a promise, a reprimand, even a commandment. It is really wise to listen to what He says because we will never stumble or be threatened by the enemy if we follow Him.

This verse in Proverbs 16 talks about prosperity. Many people wouldn’t think twice to pay the price to have prosperity in everything in life. Their problems would have an end, they would be completely fulfilled and they would have eternal happiness. But this is what the Bible offers for free. Many people don’t accept the free gift from God because they don’t leave sin behind. These people are deceived as if they were doped rejecting good things.

The Bible tells us to pay attention to the Word. Wisdom is the capacity to see evil and flee from it. We have to pay attention to the Scriptures because there is no harm in them. But if we don’t, we will not see God’s direction to make us free from problems. Wisdom will help us not go beyond where we should go.

Besides finding prosperity and the Lord’s favor, we have to trust in what He says to succeed. Many have problems about this matter because instead of trusting and believing in God’s promises they trust in pastors, churches and God’s servants. Well, there is no harm in recognizing the pastor as a man of God, the church as a good church, or to have Christian friends. But the commandment says we must trust in the Lord.

You will only succeed in your faith if you rest in the Most High (Ps 37.3-7). He is the one who knows what is good for us and what we should do to be free from evil. When He speaks to us He reveals the most pure truth. The people that trust in the Heavenly Father do what He orders and then reach success. On the other way, those who don’t pay attention to the Word lose what God could do for them.

Wisely observe the Scriptures, and then every time you are in contact with it, reading or listening to someone preaching, you will notice the Lord speaking to you. And this happens through the revelation of what is written, because your eyes will be opened and you will not have any doubts. It is like the revelation would jump from the Bible to your heart confirming that blessing to be yours.

The Lord will never ask something impossible to be done. You need to begin to practice what you understood from the Bible verse and, soon afterwards, you will know how to act in order to be delivered from evil. So, from now on, be a winner. It doesn’t matter how much you have suffered, or even if you have a difficult problem. God declares you will be successful.

In Christ, with love

Wonderful God! What an advice! Now we know how to proceed to listen to Your voice and to receive faith that will make us happy. What matters to us is to pay attention, on what is registered in Your Holy Book, with wisdom. And then we will see the solution to our problems.

We really don’t accept to be defeated. What matters to us is what is written in the Bible. We will not be commanded by the enemy’s lies anymore. We will get the faith we need to win, win and win by observing wisely Your word.

The victory upon all temptations is ours. Therefore we will not bow down before the enemy nor allow it´s evil to make us suffer. Lord! We will find good, and because we trust in You, we will succeed. Thank You for loving us!
