The wicked have an evil character, because they only think about themselves. They don’t care about those who suffer, they only see their own needs. They never wish people to do well, except themselves and their family. If they are employers, they’ll do everything to have more and more, while those who are serving do everything they can. People who think this way are lost and will not be helped. God is the judge!
Some wicked are prosperous. This might seem like a retribution for their present condition, but in eternity, they’ll find out they were wrong. Not every time someone prospers, it means they are right – even if they did nothing wrong to get rich. Not bowing before the Lord demonstrates a heart that’s not thankful to God, and it shows disdain. Lord have mercy!
The ways of the wicked are tormenting. It is bad to call people “evil” when we know their heart isn’t being guided by the Lord, but by the devil. Why would anyone want to be evil? To be benign is to have a good character, to not condemn anyone or to take advantage of other people’s innocence; it is to live withing the boundaries of Scriptures.
That doesn’t mean that we won’t be tempted, because even our Savior, who is completely pure in heart, eyes and will, was also tempted in everything, but didn’t sin: For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin (Hebrews 4:15). Those who surrender to the Lord will escape from the traps of the enemy and will also remain pure!
People who think only about their own success are uncapable of being servants – they will never continuously do the will of God. Personal projects must be put aside so the Master’s guidance will be fulfilled: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you (Matthew 6:33). Those who proceed this way will witness their necessities being supplied for by the Lord.
God’s precepts should be above what we think is best for us. After all, there’s no way to compare His purposes with ours. Man always desires the things of the world, like enrichment. However, the divine will is the best in every sense, because the plans of the Lord are good and perfect. Happy are those who put Him in first place in their lives! Without a doubt, all things will be added unto them.
Pride takes control of those who give in to evil spirits, when they consider God’s purposes unable of rescuing them. Because of that, they deny the opportunity of having the Most High guide their paths, saying they don’t need His hand. The Lord rewards those who submit to Him.

God who adds all things! We are eternally grateful for what You’ve done and will do to those who submit to You. Your will for men is greater than we can wish for. You are a good Father in every sense!
We don’t want to be wicked, nor to allow evilness to take control of our lives. We want to live within Your boundaries. Your will is infinitely better that whatever we could imagine!
Thank You for treating us as beloved children. We aren’t all we can be under Your wonderful plan yet. But for sure, following Your Word, we will get where You have planned for us to be in this present dispensation!
