“For there is no sorcery against Jacob, Nor any divination against Israel. It now must be said of Jacob And of Israel, ‘Oh, what God has done!’  Numbers 23:23

Jacob’s battle began in his mother’s womb and so did ours.  However on the other hand, the Scriptures assure us that God already knew us in these days and He wove and prepared us for these times.  So don’t let the devil deceive you by saying you will never amount to anything and say you should not even have been born, among such foolish things and ideas of the enemy.  He is a deceiver, a liar and a murderer who is always trying to remove you from the hands of the Lord.

The pact that was sworn in Bethel made all the difference for Isaac’s son. In order to confirm his promise, he behaved in a strange and dangerous manner when he needed his father’s blessing.  Subsequently by his own father’s orders he went to his mother’s relatives’ home to flee from his brother and to find a wife for him.  He felt a divine direction and believed God was with him.  So then, he prayed as he accepted the promise.

The Lord will always honor that which made you understand His Word, as long as you truly and sincerely believe and claim it with faith. Faith is the assurance and certainty that comes to your heart after you listen, hear and accept the Word. However it is not sufficient to just agree with it; one must be courageous to claim and lay hold of the promises of God.  Those who do not do battles to receive the promises will never enjoy what belongs to them by right.

Since you are part of the Covenant the Almighty established in the blood of Christ, you have more protection against any form of sorcery to harm you than did Jacob and his descendants in the pact that God had made with him. If he had not honored his share, the Lord could not honor His part.  Nevertheless, in the New Covenant, even when we are unfaithful, the Father will remain faithful because He cannot deny Himself (2 Timothy 2:13).

According to Balaam no divination against Israel would prosper and this notice happened before the Lord established the Law of Moses.  Since the New Covenant was sealed on far superior promises, it assures us more than what was promised to Jacob’s family.  Therefore the devil cannot discover what we will do for our God or even for ourselves in our daily lives.  The All-powerful does not allow the enemy to interfere in our love for the Lord.

Many things were told about the people of God, but, unfortunately today because we do not take up our position in the spiritual realms, little is said about us, except only bad news when some weaker in faith are led to sin. We have to rise up to do what the Scriptures declare about us; after all, the King of Kings wants to cry out His war cries at all times. We have to rethink our actions.

It is sad to see in our midst, the people of God getting lost in things they should have never sought or done.  Because they do not seek the Lord, many affirm falsely that the healings, deliverances and miracles only took place in the past and that the Almighty does not do these things today. Nothing could be further from the truth than such falsehoods and deceptions.

In Christ, with Love,

Faithful God! Your promises will always be fulfilled and honored regardless of the conditions that we live or the circumstances that we go through.  Truly it is good to be in the Covenant with You, so we thank You for Your great love.

We are privileged: we are not only heirs to  Your promises made to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob but also to the promises assured to those who accept Jesus as the Savior. There is no way that evil can defeat us. Halleluiah!

We confess to You our lack of wisdom.  Teach us to seek You, to live by You in love, communion and obedience; thus, we will never stumble.  That we may love You in fact and in truth.  Thank You and Amen!
