It is better to trust in the Lord Than to put confidence in man. Psalm 118:8

The Lord never lied or repented of what He did, for He is perfect in all His ways. He tells us to watch and pray that we not fall into temptation. As the days go by, many people who were steadfast in their faith and lived in the fear of God have been drifted away by the devil and have become a danger to the simple.

Because he has fallen into transgression, man will only do good if he is connected to the Most High. Those who have no fear of God are easily used by the enemy. Therefore, they will never fail to err. This does not mean that we should not give a vote of confidence to those who are sincere in the faith, but we must always check if they continue to serve the Lord. Those who do not love the Almighty will never love their neighbor as themselves.

People who are born again and live in communion with the Father are used by Him to do good, bearing witness to the Truth. They delight in fulfilling the divine will, refusing to listen to the wicked one. But who can guarantee that a person remains firm in the faith in Christ? Only the Creator searches the hearts!

Even if one is a servant of the Most High, they should not deserve your complete trust, because the Scriptures say that cursed is the man who trusts in man (Jeremiah 17:5a). Only the Lord knows whether they remain in Christ, or has faltered, and may cause you great disappointment. It is clear that this refers to making someone who calls himself the son of God your tutor, guru or something similar. We only have one Master!

The Bible shows countless examples of people who are false. Like Delilah, Samson’s beloved, who made a deal with her people, the Philistines, to discover the secret of the Nazirite hero’s strength. The girl unabashedly betrayed him. I ask myself: why did the man who was supposed to free Israel fall into such a trap? Be careful! He doesn’t stay alert falls! (1 Corinthians 10:12).

Remember that Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver (Matthew 27:3). The Savior was patient, for Judas had long been stealing the savings offered to support the Lord’s ministry. How many times must Jesus’ words have bothered him, showing that his behavior was not good? But, like all those who sell themselves to the devil, Judas did not understand divine patience.

The history of the Church is full of cases in which people sold themselves to the devil; some to spare their own life, others to make a profit. Whoever serves God and fears Him resists every demonic attack. Those who let the enemy fill their minds with the wrong things inevitably fall into transgression. Treat others respectfully and never expect from man what only God can give you.

In Christ, with love,

> Today´s Message

God of our trust! You are our Lord and Master, so we come to You for help. Sometimes, we let ourselves be carried away by people who have an evil heart. Help us, Father!

Today, we have learned that it is better to trust You, because only You are our Teacher. We must always be grounded in Your Word, lest we not be carried by the mistakes of those experts in deception.

May Your Spirit guide us on the true path - Holy Scripture. We can never exchange Your good guidance for that of any man. We want to do everything that pleases You. Thank you and amen!
