Truth shall spring out of the earth, and righteousness shall look down from heaven. Yes, the LORD will give what is good; and our land will yield its increase. Righteousness will go before Him, and shall make His footsteps our pathway.

Psalm 85: 11 – 13

Just like in the past the children of Israel were withdrawn from Egypt and taken into an abundant land of natural resources called Canaan and we too were rescued from the empire of darkness (Colossians 1: 13) and led into the Promised Land of God – the Good News of Christ. That’s the reason why Canaan symbolises The Gospel – the spiritual land where we were put in which is way much better than the material one. We have a right to occupy it considering that in The Gospel, apart from lacking nothing, we discover the divine righteousness.

Through the preaching of The Gospel truth springs out by itself. That means that we don’t need to make any promises, sacrifices or penances to achieve victory; we only have to believe in what The Spirit of God says to us through His Word because – for those who do it – The Lord has many blessings in store.

As we trust in The Lord we put the divine power to work in our favour. As a matter of fact, it’s from The Heavens that the righteousness of God looks down on us. That’s the reason why we can now go on living our lives at ease; after all, no arrow shot by the devil can ever reach us and his plans against our lives will be altogether aborted. We become more than conquerors in Christ as we believe in His Words because the power from Above is capable to operate in our favour. But we’ll hold down the hands of The Lord and our lives won’t be favoured in any way if we don’t believe.

Apart from The Truth springing out from The Gospel and the divine righteousness making us company The Lord God promises us goodness. What else do we need if we have goodness as a heavenly gift? On account of our trusting in The Most High the blessings will come to us even when we’re not requesting them and that happens because we give credit to The Words of The Almighty through The Scriptures.

Your land will bear its fruit for you. There are many virtues in The Gospel which you may enjoy. God’s been promising to do for us much more than we can ever think of. The very land of the divine promises – Heavenly Canaan, The Kingdom of God to which we will be taken – will produce what we need to carry out the divine plan. Therefore, you must never fail to fulfil the teaching you’ve learnt in The Gospel because that’s the way you’ll succeed in life.

Righteousness will always go before God; and that’s the reason why there’ll be no closed doors for you. On top of that, the enemy won’t be able to resist your progress in taking possession of your land and all those riches found in them. The Lord will rejoice with your fearlessness and determination and then, when that happens, Satan won’t be able to prevent you from reaching your success in all areas of your life.

Each one of our Master’s footsteps is a road opened up by Him for you. Therefore, you must walk through the paths that the Lord opened up for you, for He wants to make great works in your life and this is how you’ll be able to reach your success.
