Arise for our help, And redeem us for Your mercies’ sake. Psalm 44:26

The situation of the people of God when this Psalm was written was not very good, to the point that the psalmist wrote: “Yet for Your sake we are killed all day long;” (Ps 44.22). This has happened in many places, but in our country the persecutions for being of Christ have passed away. Today, when they see the wonders of God,  people that are not saved simply desire His gifts.

The hellish spirit, whose intention is to destroy the Church, will never convert. Then, somehow, he will come back to threaten us. The goal of the devil is to harm the work of the Lord and, if possible, annihilate it. This would only be possible if the saved surrendered to the enemy. However, Jesus said: [...] I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it (Matthew 16:18).

People change, but the devil in charge of killing the holy people never changes; he continues to use his minions to at least stop the progress of the Church. Do we have to be terrified about that? Absolutely not! To suffer or dye for the cause of the Gospel is one of the greatest blessings of the heavenly Father to His children. He is faithful to be with us!

The solution is to believe that the coming of Jesus, which occurred centuries after that word was written, was the first answer of the psalmist’s prayer. In past generations there were many dangers, but the devil never prevailed against those who fear God, and he never will. His hatred ever since the garden of Eden leads him to turn us away from the Lord. Some may fall, but seven thousand will never bend their knees (1 Kings 19:18).

Jesus came to fulfill the divine Law. Now, there are no more loopholes for the evil one to use in his onslaught against us, the Body of Christ. In any part of the world we must use the authority received from on High and paralyze the works of evil in the lives of Christians, regardless of which church they belong to, and also in the lives of the lost, who must be saved.

We have been redeemed by the Son of God; therefore, we need not fear the onslaughts of Hell. If we partake of the blessings acquired by the Savior in His death, it is also glorious to go through the sufferings! Be careful! The devil will not always persecute you to silence your voice, but he will send temptations, in which many people fall. Watch and pray that you will not give in to them.

The mercies of the Lord have redeemed us; however, for them to work we must be in Christ and He in us. Without Jesus, we can do nothing (John 15: 5). On the other hand, everything is possible with Him. So do not be upset by the bad things that happen to you. Serve the Most High with great joy. He keeps all of His promises!

In Christ with love,

Dad! Awaken us, for we want to do whatever it takes to have You operating in our life. You stood up and did what was necessary so that the demons could no longer harm us. Today, Your hand and Your power act upon us!

You not only stand up on our behalf, but you also are the Permanent Help to those who believe in You. As we pray in Your Name, those that oppress us will see who You are and that You are in our favor!

Our redemption has been provided; so we do not have to fear the devil and his demons. When they try to harm Your people, we can use the authority You have given us, and they will be defeated and shamed. Amen!
