We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other,

II Thessalonians 1:3

The issues related to the Kingdom of God are different from those of the world. Here, for instance, the more there are heirs to an inheritance the smaller their share will be. That does not occur in the Kingdom of Heavens. The more there are co-heirs, the greater will be our portion. As a matter of fact each new convert is a blessing to us because they can receive some important gifts that will be good for our spiritual growth. We should all pray to receive the revelation of how much we will need each other in The Kingdom.

We must praise the Lord for each saved person. Those who are not thoughtful of the new members of the Body of Christ behave ignorantly. Indifference is something that must not exist among the saints. Despising anyone for any reason whatsoever is being offensive to the Head of the Body. If hating the lost is already considered a serious sin, can you imagine how grave is the transgression a child of God commits when he hates his brethren or induce him to sin? “Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!” (Matthew 18:7)

Acknowledging the value of each member of the Body of the Lord and giving thanks for his or her life are extremely important in terms of eternity because it shows we recognize His deeds with gratitude. Unfortunately, the devil has prevented many people from realizing that fact and from giving due praise to our Creator on behalf of our brothers and sisters in Christ.

The apostle Paul also shows in between the lines of the Epistles to the Thessalonians that we must strive for the faith of our brethren to grow. Selfishness must not be accepted among the holy people. The more people God uses, the better we will live. Having a pleasant life and being successful very much depend on the progress of those who are called according to the divine purpose. Therefore, if it is up to you, take the commendable attitude to make all the efforts so that every brother and sister in Christ is exceedingly blessed.

The love of the Most High in our lives should not be just a little; on the contrary, it has to increase more and more because without that divine trait the Lord is constituted of we will not be able to take The Truth to the lost ones. Christ taught us that we will not be known by the gifts we have or by any other reason, but by loving others like He loves us. When the love of God increases in our hearts everybody will be benefited. How much I need my brethren to pray for me and to help me fulfil the mission that was put upon my shoulders! Only those who have the love of our Father in such a greater measure can act that way.

We have to be like our cells: one helping the other so that the body performs its functions. If any of them were selfish and did not fully accomplish its mission, we would be in trouble. Isn’t that the reason why there is so much tribulation in our midst? In His wisdom God determined that to be so.
