Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!

Psalm 46:10

The person who is born again has to calm down and to know that The Lord is God due to the fact that – being recreated in Christ Jesus – he or she cannot get desperate on account of the pressures of life. Turning a Christian into a restless person is one of the devilish strategies most commonly used because, this way, he or she will get disconnected from our Father to pay heed to the words of the soiled tempter. In tribulations, the one who’s not standing firm in Christ whose feet are not rooted in Him will likely behave just like the lost ones. On the other hand, those who are standing firm in faith will never allow the enemy to get them apart from the divine presence.

Our old man had no peace, it lived in distress and it was shaken with all sorts of hints from the devil. Naturally, we were submitted to the hellish powers that did all they could to take us further into doom. However, when we hear the sweetest message in the world, The Holy Gospel, we go through a complete changing process. Our spirit is reborn, and our old man was buried at baptism. So, we mustn’t allow it to rise in order to come back so it will be driving us again because, if that happens, our conversion will be thoroughly worthless.

Being new creations, we cannot let our heart lose its peace, but, in everything, we must set the example as those who trust in the Lord. Well, Jesus is The Truth (John 14:6), He really meant it and, for that reason, our lives must surrender to the lordship of His Word. We must not admit to saying we’re members of The Body of Christ and, when temptation comes up, we must not give in to going back and behave just like we used to do in the past. We must never accept restlessness to take over our lives. The devil might attempt to lure us into believing that our Father has forsaken us, that our issue will not be sorted out and, this time, we’ll get no divine help at all; therefore, we’ll not go unharmed through that crises. Well, we mustn’t believe in our opponent because he is a liar and he is the father of lies (John 8:44), but yes, we must believe in The One who has never said any lies at all, The One who has never been unfaithful to what He has promised.

Never mind about the crises that might have hit you. The Most High will work in your favour for you and others to know that He is truly God. Take right now your issue up to the throne of Grace and, in the Name of Jesus, tell everything to the Lord without concealing a word. Then you will see what He will do. That situation will not bear the manifestation of The One who is a Consuming Fire (Hebrews 12:29). He’ll come to help you as soon as you begin praying and believing.

The enemy might paint a quite dark picture, but for those who believe that means nothing at all. The faithful Christian knows that the Lord is not a liar, He’s neither late nor He forsakes those who put their trust in Him. Therefore, you mustn’t look at appearances, but at reality which is behind them. The Lord is your help, refuge and strength (Psalm 18:2).

For what God will do on your behalf, He will be exalted among the nations and all over the earth. Therefore, make the right decision and be a well-successful person.

In Christ, with love,

R. R. Soares
