Now all Judah, with their little ones, their wives, and their children, stood before the LORD.

II Chronicles 20:13

The Lord, who knows all things, gave the following warning: “…every house divided against itself will not stand” (Matthew 12:25b). In fact, the enemy knows when a family only keeps up appearances because it is he who causes division. So, as deep calls unto deep (Psalm 42:7a), the house will be full of spiritual culprits who will bring it down in a short while. How nice it would be if everyone were honest, faithful, and if there were no betrayals! I wish all families would speak and live the truth!
Faced with the covenant made between Ammon, Moab and the inhabitants of Mount Seir, the people of Judah – after Jehoshaphat convened them – presented themselves before God in one accord, as if they were one man, in order to seek victory in the Lord. My brother, the Almighty could help them because there was no division. The Word declares that if two or three come together in the name of the Lord about some project, He is in their midst (Matthew 18:20), and when that happens the whole family is blessed. Moreover, without the union of at least two people, the evil one relishes our destruction.
After the king prayed, all men, women and children stood before the Lord and, at that moment, the battle was won. Strive to have your family joined together because your household will be victorious over the problems they may be facing.
In spiritual battles we cannot afford to dismiss anyone – unless the person in question is devoid of courage or has some unavoidable commitment, which will prevent him or her from fighting with all their hearts for the Almighty. All those who serve God must be with Him. In fact, the engagement must be thorough and involve all those who the Lord summons.
In the right time, that people stood up. While those who agree with you in prayer remain in sin, subdued by immoral thoughts or involved in
any business that might be taking all their time and pervading their thoughts, nothing will be done. But when they take a stand before the Most High, the infernal powers will be shaken and the hand of God will manifest itself to do justice.
With the union of all of Judah, the Lord sent one of His prophets to give a message that brought solace to each one of them. Today, the Lord uses the same method: He inspires us to seek His presence and then when we make amends with Him and stand before him, He sends the message, the inspiration and the resources we need to be victorious.
