The Lord’s servants must prepare themselves to face tribulations because of what they say. The devil will never stop twisting their words. Some have lost their patience and cursed those who are used by the evil one in this way, but being saints of God, they should never do that. Jesus gave us peace, and we cannot give it up: Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid (John 14:27).
The enemy knows that our spirit cannot bear to see how wicked he is. So, even though we have said only good things, he – as is his nature – will twist everything so that we lose our peace and sin. The enemy doesn’t care if you use ugly words to speak of him; after all, he really wants to get you out of God’s presence. Thus, he will be able to plant many evils in your life. Be alert and pray!
Never despair when people twist your words. This only proves that you are on a good path. Peter told the secret to resisting the evil one: If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.(1 Peter 4:11). Those who live in Christ always win!
The following advice also came from Jesus’ lips: These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world (John 16:33). The Christian must learn from the Master how to act when the spirits of darkness spread rumors about him. Jesus had reasons to get up before dawn to seek fellowship with the Father (Mark 1:35). Imitate Him in this, too, and you will see wonders happen.
The fact that all the demons’ thoughts are against us means that we displease them. Whoever is born again must never fear the adversary, because the Son of God has given him power to nullify the works of evil. The Lord declares: Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19). Use your authority and put Satan in his place: under your feet (Romans 16:20).
It would be sad for us if the evil one advertised our faith and our work. It would show that we failed to fulfill the divine will. We are God’s in every way and we always want to make our Father happy and enrage the enemy. If you don’t think this way, you need to understand who you are in the spiritual world in Christ: a witness to Him at all times. Try to please the Lord in all your decisions
Face the darkness with the dignity of a winner. Refuse to be a coward. Now, the devil has to know that you are a child of the Almighty and that you are aware of the prerogatives He has given you to destroy the works of the evil kingdom. God wants to find you in the same way He found David, a man after His own heart (Act 13:22). Hallelujah!
In Christ, with love,

Lord of our perfect peace! We will never fear the forces of hell, because You give us authority over them. So, we simply raise our voices in praise to You. You have made us know what we are in Christ our Savior!
May our life be from victory to victory! If the devil twists our words, it will not cause us despair or annoyance, for we know that he has been defeated by Jesus. We want to be Your joy on Earth, doing Your work!
If they tell lies about us, he who hears them will discern that they are pure deception and that we belong to You. You will never abandon us. What can the flesh do to us, if we really love You?
