And all your armed men cross over the Jordan before the LORD until He has driven out His enemies from before Him…  Numbers 32.21

The goal was Israel’s final victory over the inhabitants of Palestine, whose land had been given to the Lord’s people. Our goal should be to learn our rights in Christ and take possession of all that has been given to us in the Son of God (Ephesians 1.3,4). Salvation is our reinsertion into the Being who created us in His image and likeness. Thus, we can live with Him and do His will. Reject the false speeches and become a member of His Body.

The Israelites were told to cross the Jordan armed, in order to help their brothers, take over that territory. The Gospel is the true Promised Land, where we lack nothing (Psalm 23.1). Close your ears to the doctrines coming from man, because they are no good, for they aim at human glory. We must follow the Word’s guidance: Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours (1 Corinthians 3.21).

Jacob’s sons were to act with all their might, because they would do so before the Lord. In the same way, we need to take hold of the blessings with all our hearts: So the scribe said to Him, Well said, Teacher. You have spoken the truth, for there is one God, and there is no other but He. And to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, [m]with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself, is more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices (Mark 12.32,33).

Israel could not rest until conquering the final victory; thus, they would take possession of the divine promise. Let us proceed in this way day and night, warning the brethren of what they must do:  that Your eyes may be open toward this temple day and night, toward the place where You said You would put Your name, that You may hear the prayer which Your servant makes toward this place (2 Chronicles 6.20). God wants to hear us all the time. Hallelujah!

The Israelites symbolize the members of the Church – the Body of Christ. While the work is unfinished, Christians must continually strive in order to take hold of all the promises made by the Lord: Say to those who are fearful-hearted, “Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God; He will come and save you.” (Isaiah 35.4). He came with the promised vengeance, did the work, and gave us power over the kingdom of the evil one (Luke 10.19).

He who has fear in his heart cannot be with those who have faith to act according to the Most High’s purpose: “The officers shall speak further to the people, and say, ‘What man is there who is fearful and fainthearted? Let him go and return to his house, lest the heart of his brethren faint like his heart.’ (Deuteronomy 20.8). God’s warriors cannot let fear or any other evil thing enter their hearts.

When all the Earth has received the testimony of Jesus, after hearing the Good News, the saved can rest, because the divine purpose will have been fulfilled. Do not accept to be led by some “complementary” order from Heaven, for there is no such thing. Follow the instruction: “But you, go your way till the end; for you shall rest, and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days.” (Daniel 12.13). Believe and pray!

In Christ, with love,

God with us to the end! You always go before Your people, leading them to the land You have given them to dwell in. Only he who does not believe, or who despises Your good words, will not enjoy this blessing. Whoever doesn't make an effort or shows fear, will be left out!

We must pass armed before You, so as not to be easily deceived by the king of wickedness, who seeks to divert us from our mission. Therefore, we will never agree to go beyond what You have commanded. It will be beautiful when we reach the end of the fight!

Every man for himself and God for all, that is the walk of faith today. At that time, this was also said in other words, but many were discouraged from the journey still in the beginning. It doesn't matter how much we lack or the enemy we will face. You are faithful!
