Therefore, since we have such hope, we use great boldness of speech
II Corinthians 3:12
If you do not know your rights, you will not be bold to claim them. The Word of God tells us many things that the Lord Jesus did for all those who put their faith in Him. What Christ did, through His death, in your favor was to grant the rights that you have in Him. Upon learning that something belongs to you, do not beg for it anymore but rather take possession of it. Divine healing, forgiveness of sins, peace, prosperity and other blessings that pertain to life and godliness have been given to us (II Peter 1:3), so there is no need to cry out for God to give us His gifts.
The apostle Paul states in the verse above that since we have such hope – such revelation – we use great boldness of speech. He who does not confess what Jesus did or does not take a stand in the Word of God is acting like a fool. Allowing your life to be under the sway of the devil will keep you from enjoying the blessings intended for you. What is the point of being a member of a good church, praying or taking part in fasting campaigns in order to obtain deliverance if you do not believe what the Word reveals? God will never fail to fulfill any of His statements or promises.
Note that the instruction is to use great boldness. Pay attention to the fact that it is not just being a little daring, but rather being extremely bold. So be bold when speaking of the things that the everlasting God has done for you and then your life will be completely different. By obeying what the Scriptures command your problems will disappear. The Bible testifies of you just as it testified of Jesus. The difference is that He believed in what was recorded in the holy pages, and you do not always believe them. However, to accomplish that mission God has given you the tools, now the secret is to use great boldness of speech.
Obviously, a dose of caution and common sense do very well. Joshua, for example, commanded the sun to stand still over Gibeon, and the moon in the valley of Aijalon before all Israel (Joshua 10:12). He did
not come up with this idea out of the blue, but after praying he felt he should do so. It is true that God guides His servants, but the paralytic awaiting the Lord to get them in His arms and make them walk will continue in their wheelchair, as well as those who pray for prosperity but do not strive to earn their bread with honesty: they will never attain the long-awaited prosperity.
Do not wait another minute to take possession, with boldness, of what the Word of God has already revealed to you. When revelation comes to your heart it means that what you want already belongs to you. With dauntlessness, enter into the divine presence in the name of Jesus and take possession of everything that was given to you in Christ. God does not help the fainthearted, but He is with those who believe in him and exercise their rights. The Lord\’s blessings only depend on your attitude. In the Name of Jesus, become victorious right now! God is searching your heart and He will be by the side of those who trust Him.
