Which all concern things which perish with the using—according to the commandments and doctrines of men?

Colossians 2:22

Men, even those well-intentioned, who work out precepts and doctrines to rule the work of God, are making a huge mistake and, for that reason, they will pay a high price on the reckoning day. All those necessary things to assist people into serving the Lord have already been established by the Scriptures. The best thing to do is not to create any rules to the work of the Holy Spirit. Worshipping God – as well as all other works performed at church – must be driven by the Holy Spirit according to what is recorded in The Word.

Those who work out rules and commandments to lead a service to God are being offensive to the divine wisdom because their attitude is similar to a declaration in which it says that The Father is not perfect and thorough and, for that reason, He needs someone else to stretch Him a helping hand. If, one day, you happen to find out any faulty procedure in the service of the House of God you must turn to Him and ask about it because your eyes are undoubtedly closed.

The truth is that everything that was created by men regarding divine work issues is completely worthless to them. What we need to do is hearing what’s being ministered and listen to the biblical reading because it’s this way that our Father teaches us what to do for His will to be fulfilled both in our lives and in other people’s lives. Those who are sensible, though they might be requested to give their opinion on the best way to serve God, must refuse to work where they had not been called by the Most High.

The Lord established in His Word the Way to be taken in order for you to reach Him and to get from Him His blessings. According to Him, those who believe and observe men’s precepts, and through them they strive to please Him, are doing something worthless altogether. As we look to the teaching of The Master we can say that human rules will never be used by the Heavens. Jesus said categorically that He does not accept any human testimony or any glory that comes from men (John 5:34, 41). So, the best thing to do is to keep away from all those things that do not please the Lord.

Religions’ precepts, if compared to the divine ones, will lose a lot. And that happens because the fallen man is not able to rule for the perfection world. It is the divine grace that capacitates us into entering in the presence of the Almighty and into serving Him. Even the most educated people and those deemed to be pious will never be able to create anything worthy to be used by God. On the other hand, all doctrines necessary for people to learn how to walk with the Most High are already recorded in the Scriptures.

Scholarly minds, even those extremely trained, fall short of the divine wisdom indeed. As for the doctrines of all religions, those inventions perish with their usage since they are completely unnecessary when it comes to serving our Father.

In Christ, with love,
