She watches over the ways of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness.  Proverbs 31.27

The virtuous woman is the Church of Christ, which individually – it´s us. What a responsibility to be the Church built by the Savior! It is a great privilege that He gives us: to prepare us for eternal life. The saved will be continually connected to Jesus, because the Body cannot have the Head far from the other parts. We will be so adjusted to the Lord (Ephesians 4.15,16), that nothing will separate us from Him (Romans 8.38,39)!

God has placed the husband as the head of the family, whose duty it is to guide it and provide for the family’s daily bread, and the loving wife watches over the one who exercises the government of her home. She, as the builder of the house, prays for her husband and speaks words that have the power to build him up: The wise woman builds her house, but the foolish pulls it down with her hands. (Proverbs 14.1).

The saved are temples of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, they need to look at what happens to them, without accepting any interference from the devil. If you fall and get into the clutches of the enemy, you will no longer be part of the Body of Christ. Now, would God allow the evil one to have in his hands one of His members? Giving in to sin is terrible, but if you do stumble – repent, confess your error, and accept forgiveness (1 John 1.9).

The wife plays a very important role in running the household. She is a competent helper, who doesn’t let her husband let his guard down. If, by any chance, there is sin in the marriage, both will suffer, because they form one body. There is nothing better than living at the foot of the cross, enjoying the presence of the Most High and having full communion with Him. Give no place to the devil is a commandment (Ephesians 4:27).

This valorous woman must always stay alert, to only open her mouth with wisdom, for she will be praised by the Most High: She opens her mouth with wisdom, And on her tongue is the law of kindness (Proverbs 31.26). When she speaks to her spouse, she must not use negative or derogatory words, but she must encourage him, saying that he has the ability to succeed – he needs to feel prepared. Not everyone has the same gift, but they are God’s property!

Beneficence – the art of doing good – has been given to every woman by the Lord. It is a law capable of nullifying the sophistries of evil. This ordinance must be on the tongue of the wife, who is the joy of her husband. There is no better position for her than to give heirs to God and convert people to the Truth. As the Bride of Christ, we have authority over evil (Luke 10.19). So, we will go all the way – using such power!

Happy is the congregation whose members are seen with the qualities of this ideal woman, who looks to her home and doesn’t eat the bread of laziness. Don’t let yourself be deceived by the evil one. Your future is assured next to the Lord of lords and King of kings. With Him we shall reign forever. We are the enclosed garden of the Most High and we will not be overcome by the devil. So, make sure you have received the Bread of Heaven, because the one of idleness is no good!
