And it shall come to pass in that day that the LORD will thresh, from the channel of the River to the Brook of Egypt; and you will be gathered one by one, O you children of Israel.  Isaiah 27.12

The day of the operation of God’s love and power began at the death of Jesus and will end on His return to seek His Church. The Lord is cleansing His House, taking away those who only harm it, and the rest are thankful. He says: In the same hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell.  In the earthquake seven thousand people were killed, and the rest were afraid and gave glory to the God of heaven (Revelation 11.13). The Most High is good in His deeds!

God uses the shovel, throwing up the harvested grain. Thus, the grind – the residue – is blown away by the wind. Don’t worry about the Lord’s actions in His work. With His peculiar affection, He removes those who cause scandal. The saints need to continue in their mission. The Almighty is good at threshing His threshing floor and knows how to separate the sheep from the goats, the good from the bad, giving blessings to His children (Matthew 25.31-33).

Whoever goes to Christ and begins to walk the Way to eternal happiness will be thrown up. In this way, every vice or sin that accompanies mankind will come out, and they will be purified:  Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand. (Daniel 12.10). The purification of the Church should not surprise us, but the rebels!

Salvation is individual and begins when the lost person hears the Gospel and decides to follow Jesus. Then God shows him his sins, which, if continue in his being, will lead him back to the devil. Let the Lord use the shovel to get the worthless residue out of your character. There is often nothing Christian about it. You need to be put to good use in the most holy work (Luke 3.17). Now, everything that concerns the Almighty must be holy, as He is!

Peter had been walking with Jesus from the beginning, but the Master spoke to him: But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.” (Luke 22.32). The disciple didn’t understand what Christ was saying, and boasted, saying that he would go with Him even unto death. Now, he had forgotten Who spoke this word to him. The Lord showed that He was still the same, prophesying that on that day, before the rooster crows, Peter would deny Him three times (Matthew 26:75). Pray!

As for conversion, it has to happen all the time, because we are being trained to walk with the Father, drawing closer to Him with each decision. So, free yourself from that which tempts or surrounds you, leading you to vanity of thoughts and behavior. Be someone led by the Holy Spirit. Then you will be proven to be a child of God: For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God (Romans 8.14).

The sons of Israel, the prince who wrestled with God and prevailed, differ from those of Jacob, although they are the same person (Genesis 22.24-30). Jacob’s sons have superficial contact with God; Israel’s sons wrestle with Him and prevail. This leads them to total and true communion with the Most High: But it is not that the word of God has taken no effect. For they are not all Israel who are of Israel (Romans 9.6).
