Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.

I John 3: 2

We Christians have to wake up so we’ll enjoy our spiritual rank which comes from the supreme glory of God considering that we’re His children. Had nothing else been written concerning us the statement above would be enough for us to use our prerogatives in Christ. Due to our spiritual advantages we have the assurance that no evil power will ever keep us in slavery and as children of God we have become partakers of our Father’s very essence.

The fact that we are children of The Most High makes us stand out from the ungodly, those who haven’t made the decision of taking part in The Kingdom of God. All those who accept Jesus as their Saviour are recreated in Him. Unless we’re born again (John 3: 3) we won’t be enjoying the good works our Father has in store for us. The only requirement the saved ones have to meet to enjoy those wonders is to just keep on believing.

The spiritual realm knows very well the moment we get converted to Christ and then the angels of God have no difficulty whatsoever to recognise us as His heirs and heiresses. What we determine in The Name of Jesus gets the same reply of His commands – those given personally by Him – because it’s as if Christ Himself was speaking instead of us. The angels are ministering spirits sent to serve in favour of those who shall inherit salvation (Hebrews 1: 14).

On top of that, demons are also aware of the fact that they have to obey us. As we speak with authority and faith our voice becomes a sort of flame of fire upon them considering that we speak in The Name of The One who is The Consuming Fire (Hebrews 12: 29). All evil spirits – Satan as well, being their chief commander – were already defeated by our Saviour at His death on The Calvary (I John 4: 4). That’s the reason why you’re never to hesitate when it comes to demanding any evil spirit to get out.

The best is still to come: The Word declares that what we shall become is not manifested yet (I John 3: 2 b). The privilege of those who, in the biblical times, achieved huge spiritual understanding and were used to perform a myriad of miracles cannot be compared to what those who will be saved, those who persevere to the end will achieve (Hebrew 11: 39, 40). Our glory throughout eternity will be tremendous. Now, those who will be condemned to hell will be terribly harmed.

The riches in store for us to be revealed the moment we enter The Kingdom of God, prepared for us since the foundation of the world go beyond our human comprehension. So, do strive not to miss out on your eternal happiness. What human mind has never understood, ears never heard of and eyes never seen is what we’ll have (I Corinthians 2: 9).

We’ll be exactly like The Lord; yet, only those people who are told about the requirements they need to meet to become children of God will be able to secure their place in Christ. They’ll only have to live their lives according to The Word.
