And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.

Colossians 3:15

The world seeks out the peace which is altogether insignificant to the servants of God because the peace we have is utterly higher to the one mankind would give everything for to reach. Nations get to the point of spending a huge amount of money to seek out a solution for the troubles of mankind, but even with all that effort they find no peace at all.

Those who have not understood The Word of God yet have over their faces something like a veil which prevents them from seeing the truth. We don’t need to get into arguments with those who are lost, those who use their most developed diplomatic techniques since our work field is the spiritual one. The actions of diplomats whose efforts are worthy of praise will not come out well.

Since the moment men appeared on the face of the earth all kinds of human actions to eradicate evil have been tried; yet, none of them has worked and none will ever do –because only the divine peace is capable of sorting out all of our troubles. It is much higher than anything a man could wish for; it is, by the way, the same peace that The Lord owns. As He grants us His peace He shows us that there is no need for us to continue on the search of the solution to human issues. The right thing to do is to let the peace of God dominate all our spirit.

We were called to enjoy the peace of our God in one same Body. Therefore, it is crystal clear that nobody will ever have it in their life unless they participate in The Body of Christ. Those who are only church-goers – due to the fact that they like the preaching, singing praises and all other activities that take place in a church – yet, they have not got converted yet, will not be able to enjoy the peace of The Lord. Now, those who belong to The Body of Christ are naturally filled up with it.

It is important to let such peace take over your heart because, this way, you will not hesitate. I could say that some children of God have not allowed it to dominate them, and for that reason the heart of each one of them may be constantly in despair. Those who do not have the peace of The Lord as their Judge in their heart do not know what truly serving Him is about.

We are commanded to be thankful, therefore, if we do what we are told we will be always pleasing our Father. Yet, that thanksgiving act must not be a fake. Those who do not enjoy the peace of God but pretend being thankful to Him – will not be accepted considering that The Most High abhors lies.

What else is there for us to do to please The Lord and live well? We must follow His Words for the divine power to operate in our lives and, thus, for uneasiness to cease. The divine peace is a privilege granted to those who belong to The Body of Christ. If you still have not made the decision to truly receive The Son of God, don’t leave it for tomorrow. Do it right now because, this way, you will enjoy that peace!
