Jeremiah was still a boy when he heard the voice of God’s Word, and soon realized that he had been called to be His servant in those days. There is no greater privilege than that. Without a doubt, one has been chosen for a mission. This hearing is not something that comes to our mind and we say that He spoke to us, but it happens by reading the Bible or hearing the preaching of the Gospel in church. This always improves what we do for the Lord.
Whoever accepted Jesus as Savior paid attention to His gentle voice and made the decision to heed what he was told (John 6.44; 10.27). The ungodly soon come along to say that this individual was impressed by many things and considered that the Lord spoke or let him know something. Many have not yet been taught about the way God addresses someone, so they do not believe when the Lord speaks to that person.
God’s voice can be interpreted by understanding the Word when no one speaks to us. It is the testimony that God Himself gives of Himself; after all, the Word is Jesus with the Father (John 1.1,14; 10.30). By receiving the testimony, people know what to do, when and where to carry out the mission given to them. The divine touch is very distinct, giving no room for error. It is the beginning of something greater to come!
It needs to be said that the touch that awakened you to receive a blessing, in order to lead you to make some decision, came full of authority. When God speaks, the person receives the revelation, but cannot explain why it is there, only that it is real. The Scriptures speak of the Most High: For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints (1 Corinthians 14.33). When you hear Him, believe, for He is no respecter of persons. God is perfect!
The Word sent will stay by your side forever. It comes with power and cannot return without having fulfilled its mission. Here is Isaiah’s statement: So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it (Isaiah 55.11). The Word solves your problems and any adverse situation!
We are called to accept Jesus as Savior and take on ministry, as happened with Samuel, Hanna’s son, which she left with Eli the priest, to be raised before the Lord. On one occasion, Samuel heard God three times. Since he had no experience, he went to the priest. Therefore Eli said to Samuel, “Go lie down, and it shall be, if He calls you, that you must say, ‘Speak, LORD, for Your servant hears. So Samuel went and lay down in his place. Then, God made Samuel hear His plan. Then he told it to the priest, who recognized that it was the Most High speaking (1 Samuel 3.1-18).
Today, the Lord uses the Bible to speak, and when you understand it, you can say that you have heard the divine voice, giving you direction. But never force things because God is wise and gives revelation to whom He wants to receive His message. This should not be used for personal promotion, nor for one to be applauded as God’s friend. Jeremiah also gave attention to the Lord, and those who serve Him do the same!
In Christ, with love,

Lord of the Word of the solution! Eli was old and no longer had the firmness he had in the beginning of his ministry, so he no longer cared about the mistakes of his children. Hannah, who was barren, felt that she needed to be a mother and promised You that if her wish was granted, she would give her son to serve God in the temple!
After she kept her promise, You gave her other children. Her shame became praise and blessing for Your people, who had in Samuel the pleasure of being led by You. May there be other servants like Hannah's son!
May Your work grow among the peoples! Then our generation will know the true God. Then we will see Your Kingdom full of saved people. May the preachers be like the consecrated Samuel and Jeremiah, for the world needs to be saved!
