Who can understand his errors? Cleanse me from secret faults. Psalm 19:12

We’re accustomed to see the mistakes of others, but it is not always easy to see our own errors in us.  This is not happenstance; it is the product of a systematic temptation which creeps up softly and slowly developing our desire over time, without our perception.  Then when something greater occurs or even a sin, we perceive the deception of the enemy which led us into his trap.  Had we remained alert, connected to the Word, this would not have happened.

It is easy to condemn others and it gives us an excuse for our conscience, which always accuses us of falling to the enemy.  The only way not to give in to his deceptions is to live by the Word.  When you see that you’ve made decisions not supported by the Scriptures, return immediately to God.  The further we stay away from Him the closer we are to the tempter.

Jesus says we are evil but even still we know how to give good things to our children (Luke 11:13).  So, no matter how farm we are from the Truth we still know what is righteousness.  Those that have never heard the Gospel will be judged by their conscience, their notion of right and wrong.  But it is much better to walk with God, obeying the commands of the Word and resisting the diabolical tricks, lies, deceptions.

When King Hezekiah received word of his impending death from Isaiah and therefore should leave his affairs in order, he prayed.  In that prayer, it is possible to see that he was convinced of his own righteousness, since he told the Almighty that he had always walked before Him in Truth, obeying the divine will and doing only what was right before the Lord.  He then cried bitterly.

At this point in the king’s prayer, God made him see how his resumptions made him vulnerable to the enemy’s attacks.  However, on repenting, he allowed God to change his heart and give him fifteen more years of life.  Thus, he was healed.  While any person does not have a real, true encounter with the Heavenly Father, this person will not see the errors in himself and will not ask that the hidden sins be removed.

Many people find it not at all easy to relinquish or cease what seems good or pleasing; however, convinced by the Lord, they seek forgiveness and are transformed.  The hidden errors are the very worst, because if they are not identified and removed, God can’t be present.  This word teaches us to pray for absolution in order to gain access to the Father.  Why not pray now?

God used David to show the truth. It is necessary to be cleansed of the transgressions practiced.  The Lord wants to prepare you for great works.  That which you learned today will be valuable to improve your proximity to God. Proceed until no more condemnation can be found in you.  Amen?

In Christ, with Love,

God!  If understanding our own errors is already difficult, the hidden sins are impossible for us to know, unless You reveal them.  If we are not to blame for them, we ask You to please remove them from us.

Sometimes, we are haughty in Your presence.  Because You do not consider or remember our errors which separate us from You, we think You do answer us through  wickedness or carelessness. Please  forgive us  for still walking in darkness.

We want to be pure in heart, so we can see You and not live in condemnation.  Thank you for having given us everything we need for life and compassion. Now give us more knowledge of Jesus!
