07/07/2018 - WHEN THE STRONG CRY REACHES GOD

Now it happened in the process of time that the king of Egypt died. Then the children of Israel groaned because of the bondage, and they cried out; and their cry came up to God because of the bondage. Exodus 2:23

The alliance of God with Abraham was extended to the patriarch’s heirs, however, because they had gone down to Egypt and gained a good fertile soil, they did not worry with the place where they were and did not seek the Lord.  After Joseph died, different kings succeeded in commanding the nation and held no more regard for what Jacob’s son had once done for all of them.  The new kings mistreated the Israelites and consequently they came to learn how painful it is to abandon the Most High.

In like manner there are many Christians leading their lives like the lost.  Surely, God cannot bless those who do not desire to be blessed.  Nowadays, many who are saved pay no attention to the biblical warnings and allow, for example, their daughters to marry the lost and allow their sons to take lost women as their wives.  God forbids this practice.  This way, the descendants of these sorts of marriage do not even seek the Lord.  How sad!  Pray about it.

After some time away from God, divine workings are no longer seen in homes where the Lord should be honored.  Then the problems arise, and no matter how good people speak of Him, people continue in error and suffer greatly, but they do not listen to the Holy Spirit.  This is a sad state of affairs, because certainly the descendants of those who have proven of the salvation are certainly included in the Lord’s plan.

God was no longer present, but people lacked faith and all sorts of difficulties arose. The Lord had not changed, the people had.  The Egyptian’s whip replaced the Love of God; suffering instead of the blessings of the Almighty, and pain substituted the joy there had been in communion with Him who had called Abraham and confirmed His blessing on Isaac and Jacob.  They were reaping what they had sown.  Still, the wonderful God heard them when they cried out.

In those days, some began to remember what they had heard about the Most High when their ancestors had been greatly used by Him.  So faith started to grow back and many called others to communion.  In little time all were ready to cry out to the Lord, who would certainly hear and answer their call, as He had promised.  When the cry is combined with faith, God accepts the prayers of His people and remembers His alliance and promise.

All that the Father truly needs to deliver His sons from the evil of the devil is someone that dares to supplicate for His help.  He hears the groans of the people who are subjugated and mistreated as inferior, who live under the oppression of the empire of darkness, and He moves to deliver and free them. If you are in pain and are going through difficult moments, start now to call out to God and in little time He will send the necessary rescue.

The time has arrived when the Lord heard the children of Israel and knew them.  Your time has also arrived because ever since the day that Jesus overcame the devil and left him eternally defeated, the enemy can no longer hold His children in bondage.
