04/03/2016 - WHEN THE TEST COMES

The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold, But the LORD tests the hearts.  Proverbs 17:3

Prepare yourself for the moment when your faith will be tested, so you don’t disappoint the Lord. He assures you that you will never be tested beyond your strength ( 1 Cor 10:13) and the understanding you have received from Him when you gave ear to His Word. Then, when the evil one sets up a snare, immediately rise up in the Name of Jesus and take hold of that which belongs to you in Christ. Thus, you will come out victorious.

The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold; however, man´s heart is tested by the problems that come upon him. However, this should not scare us, for, although the enemy is behind bad situations that come upon us, the Lord will teach us how to use the Sword of the Spirit – the Word -, so that we can cancel the works of the enemy. With the understanding we received from God, we will not be defeated by the devil. 

When you understand any biblical declaration, shape your life according to it, because when the Lord allows you to be tested, you will have the conditions to come out victorious over those temptations. However, never flee from any battle nor let the devil put you to shame. All we need to do is just like David and the others heroes of God´s people did; thus, we will come again with rejoicing, bringing our sheaves with us (Psalm 126:6). 

Praying is important, but nobody wins because they pray alot or because they long for God´s help or ask Him for something; but because they observe carefully the orientations given in the Holy Book. Never fear the enemy, but go into battle following the Most High´s instructions. Trusting in Him is the same as trusting His words, and in prayer, taking hold of them, considering that the work is done, even if the symptoms try to convince you otherwise. 

Even if circumstances in life are not favorable or if nobody helps you; you will have everything in the Lord to become a conqueror. Therefore, if you go through a serious trial, do not rebel, for the Father knows how to teach those He receives as His children. Your victory is guaranteed, and there is no reason why you should doubt and not carry on, judging the work as accomplished. 

If the trial you are going through is intense, it is because God has already given you more than you can imagine. If you persevere with positive faith and do not back down, you will receive more. Those who become great before the Lord prove by the way they react to temptations, that He really did not commit an error when He called them and prepared them. Those who give up, show that they do not love Him. You write your destiny when you believe or don’t believe in the Word of God. 

It is good to pass the test with honors, for this shows that the lesson was learned. It doesn’t matter what the enemy does; stand firm in faith and be confident at all times. After all, your victory is very near. When it comes to fruition, you will discover how much God loves you and trusts in you.
