Death is feared by almost all human beings, except those who have become perfect in Christ. The latter know that this will be their opportunity to meet the One they have loved so much and who will receive them at the time He has chosen (Philippians 1.23). The lost, on the other hand, are left uncertain, knowing only that they are heading into the unknown. Now, they could have gone to the Kingdom of God, but they despised Him. They sense what awaits them on the other side!
The saved know that they have passed from death to life (John 5.24); therefore, when God calls them, they will respond with great naturalness, giving a yes and saying that the Father’s will be done. After all, they will receive the promised reward from the divine hand. There is a difference between the saved and the rebellious, and it is seen while they are still alive on Earth, for the latter preferred the wide gate, with the deceptions of sin and the “pleasure” of a dissolute life (Matthew 7.13,14). The redeemed, on the other hand, delight in being the Lord’s and obeying Him.
The Most High declares the preciousness of the act of leaving the world and being in His hands: Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints (Psalms 116.15). Those who don’t have the hope of the Word, on the other hand, wait for the just condemnation, which, by the way, was their choice, shrinking in sadness and despair. Why would anyone refuse the gift of salvation? That answer is hard to find. The fact is that rejecting the Lord is the worst blunder a person can consciously make!
The promise made by the Savior is of a smooth passage for those who love Him and do not deny the decision made to surrender to Him from the heart. Eternal life for the Christian begins the moment he believes the Bible and receives Jesus as Savior. Then, the power to become a child of God is given to him. Then, consciously, he begins to get rid of sins and to consecrate himself to the Lord, knowing that he is already a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven. Hallelujah!
The worst attitude of a person is to say no to life, preferring to live under the enemy´s dominion forever. Now, the devil is wicked, a liar, and a murderer. Goodness will never be found in Satan, just as it is impossible to find a drop of clean water in a sewer. Those who prefer to live in sin feel what awaits them at the end of their days, but the goodness of God will insist with them until the end, that they may repent and be redeemed (Romans 2:4).
David, realizing that his time to depart this life was coming, said he was following the path laid out by the Almighty and quietly instructed Solomon – the chosen one from Heaven to occupy the throne of the Lord in his place: I go the way of all the earth; be strong therefore, and prove yourself a man [...] (1 Kings 2.2). God’s servants must do the same with their children – natural or spiritual. Thus, there will be no interruption in the divine work!
Serve the Lord with all your heart, taking care not to stray from the commandments, but giving God due glory for having delivered your soul, whose salvation was extended to your descendants (Acts 16.31). No one should worship the father or the leader raised up by the Lord, but rather respect the Word and continue to truly serve Him. The eyes of the Almighty see everything!

Lord! Every soul who honors and serves You must never use the things that the lost love, like lying and greed, but live humbly to please You. You call, lift up, and use whom You want. Your work is not like a no man´s land!
You had already prepared Solomon to occupy Your throne, reigning as a man under Your guidance. Likewise, the choice in every ministry comes from You. The foolish fight for something they have not worked for, but desire - to help the enemy in his hatred against You!
May Your fear and love be upon the participants in Your harvest! This way, no one will be like Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Jesus and met a tragic end. Children should honor You, dear Father, by living as born-again, stripped of the flesh!
and Serug lived after he begat Nahor two hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.
